Not sure how you think Gucci is less popular. It’s subjective. I will always buy Gucci rather than pay extortionate prices for CC n H. Overhyped under quality products. At least GG has some eclectic wonder . Plus their quality is great and you don’t get the preposterous snobbery in their stores . Yawn on a 20k old lady bag from H!!
I think Gucci is gaining traction in 2022 especially with their new Blondie bag, I’m in love with it and it probably will be an upcoming purchase but one can’t deny, as much as someone may not like Chanel, Hermes, or any other brand that is currently on every fashion girl on IG, that in 2016 and 2017 Gucci was the most popular ‘mainstream’ luxury house, every single blogger on IG and YT featured Gucci non stop and it got so saturated in the market. Brands, trends, they ebb and flow. Anything that is up at the very top of the popularity ladder will dive down at some point and there’s no denying that Gucci took a massive dive in popularity the past 3 years. Resale value of the Marmont bag arguably their most popular bag in 2017 dropped significantly to well under 50% resale. Gucci has rarely been worn by any of the top fashion bloggers in the past 3 years unless it was for their fashion week shows which dressed the blogger, celebrity etc.
@@DoubleVanilla Absolutely love the Blondie bag . Yes I guess you’re right it did get a bit saturated with the ubiquitous marmont logo , but I think there are still influencers promoting GG just not as much as CC at the moment. I do have a few pieces from C but I just don’t like the way they are going . It’s a shame they’re alienating clientele. Undoubtedly they don’t care if they’re making so much money. The tide will turn though . The moral is I guess buy what you love
