unlike most other singaporean non malay politicians, the Lees actually grew up speaking malay (which is rare even for chinese peranakans that were heavily involved closely with the british at the time). Even your former PM, mr Goh didn't speak malay as well as the Lee's

As a multilingual guy, you just speak english, cos ah Lee Hsien Loong can command and sound native does not mean you can. LKY is not good in Mandarin, but his Malay is wow.
