People in the female ward are familiar with Chris Walker, Trager knows Father Martin and Dennis (the one who tries to catch you to feed you to Gluskin) would never ever try to challenge Eddie., because he knows him. I like to think that Gluskin purposefully spared him because he considered him impure (Dennis is a man, a woman and a child at the same time) and made him his slave. I think one of his lines is something like “we keep giving the Groom fresh meat so he spares ours”, so it is likely that he has hunted down more than a patient without remorse
I like how at 1:00, you start to hear the violins play, but they're overshadowed by the loud percussion and after a while, when Gluskin finds you and starts to chase you down, they switch, so the violins overpower the percussion. I like to think that the percussion is supposed to mimic your heartbeat during all the tension of hiding and when he finds you the tension is broken, at which point the violins mimics panic and screams while you run for your life. Those soundtracks still impress me after those years.
Amazingly written! I always thought of Outlast to have the best horror game themes next to Haunting Ground.. You have to check it out it is a PS2 horror game but truely legendary

I rather have my head ripped off then having to spend a second watching my own genitals being sawed off like that. The game specifically made your area of running smaller for Gluskin whereas Chris's escape area is much wider making it easier for you to escape from him.

I found Gluskin to be the scariest for one sole reason. (besides him trying to chop off my balls) HE FUCKING SINGS WHILE HE'S LOOKING FOR YOU AND THAT'S SO FUCKING TERRIFYING WHEN YOU'RE JUST SITTING THERE, HIDING, AND HEAR IT. The game wasn't too scary, but Eddie made this game much more stressful. Especially because you're also crippled for half of the chases with him.

Not gonna lie, this chase music scared the living shit out of me when I played this game. Honestly Outlast has some good music for a horror game. The 1:58 part is where my heart just starts racing as I try to find a way out of that hell hole.

@@UndertaleFan-cx2mc the only thing with Eddie Gluskin is knowing that he’s really easy to outmaneuver and his area is even easier to know where you’re going. Frank literally cuts you off and forces you to go back and try to get past to go to the direction that he cut you off. Eddie also slows down for you and it’s not very dark. Whilst, overall Frank is more intimidating, I thought it was some naked creature at first but I realized that he had hair and clothes. He’s legit Waylon’s Chris Walker even if Chris shows up in the DLC. Eddie is one of the easier chasers to outmaneuver, he literally jogs towards you, lets you run away, makes you go in a locker, slows down for you, and rarely is able to cut you off perfectly. Frank is definitely more scary
