So excited to watch this video as I've admired Bella's beautiful covers and wondered how they were made. I'm not a sewer (seamstress) so didn't think it was possible for me to even try, but yay, the idea of purchasing a quilt piece, or using a cushion cover is such a fab idea. Hi Rachel, I live in Portugal and we have had wonderful weather, yesterday we actually went to the beach because it was 32° centigrade with nearly no wind. I had a beautiful day with my family at the beach. ❤❤ I would love to meet all of you in Wales on the summer retreat!! ❤❤
You made that look so easy! I’m still trying to make a straight line on my sewing machine. 😂 But how wonderful to use an old baby’s quilt to make a cover. I will do a practice run first, really don’t want to mess up something so dear to someone. I have to admit, I’m finding it really difficult to keep up with all these great videos in this collaboration. Two a day is alot. ThoughI have thoroughly enjoyed every one I’ve watched. So much inspiration! Hopefully we will have a couple of weeks at the end to finish them all. And I feel like I’ve missed something important if I miss even one 😂. I would love to join you and bring the rest of our little group " The Scrappy Chicks" for the summer retreat. We talked about it but, unfortunately, our schedules for the 4 of us are not lining up. If we come it would be at least a 10 day trip as the pond is deep and wide.

Thank you for this video! I had a soft journal cover I had made and struggled today to stitch in the signature. I walked away but now I feel more confident to try again.
