Northern Lights in Appennino Bolognese

During the night of May 10th and May 11th, 2024, my plan was to shoot some astrophotography from one of my favorite locations near "Corno Alle Scale" and "Vidiciatico" in the heart of the Apennine Mountains. However, as I was setting up my equipment, I noticed that most of the sky was bathed in a reddish hue due to an incredible display of the Northern Lights at our latitude.
I quickly changed my plans, swapping out my 600mm lens for a 14mm, and sought out a good vantage point from that location. The video captures the view to the North from around 1 a.m. until sunrise.
