I first saw this show in 1988 and couldn't stop laughing. Now it's 2022 and to me it's the funniest show I've ever seen. The man was absolutely brilliant. His jokes and his comedic timing will never be matched. Thank you so much for sharing this. It's timeless.
@@tommyharris5817 - I'm sorry you don't think he's as funny as you hoped. One of the great things about comedy is that it can affect you at different times and in different ways. Sometimes things are funny when you're younger, others you have to age into. And they may not be laugh out loud funny, but rather just something you understand and find amusement in because you experienced something similar. Hopefully his humor works that way for you later.
@@AllThroughALife I just find him mildly amusing at best, absolutely not laugh-out-loud. He was overrated, especially as there were other much funnier stand-ups.

I am a total atheist and Anglo but if I had to pick a country and religion to be born into I would choose Israeli and the Jewish faith and be very proud to do so. Bless you dear Jackie for making me laugh every time. Shalom

I'm Polish and loved it. Totally worth whatever the price. This should be the regular today but NOOOOOO everyone is afraid to even get close, scared shitless of being cancelled. If only every comedian, or at least one would watch this GOAT and learn something, then kick off with a show with perfection like this. I definitely needed to laughs. @@systemsoversymptomsvisionw9806 I used to watch AITF back in the day. It was definitely pioneering, and Carroll O'Connor was incredibly talented. I don't think that a show like that could be made today.
An extremely funny man. Been laughing at his jokes for decades, since I saw him in this show with my parents. I was crying with laughter. A couple of years later saw him in a subsequent show on Broadway. We were outside the theater before the show and up walks Jackie Mason, who smiled and said, “Good evening.”
I saw this show on Broadway, NYC.. Laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. From the time he walked on to the stage, until after he walked off that stage ... and on the trip home ... couldn't stop laughing. A Comic Genius.
I was fortunate to see him twice in London in the early 90's - and met with him at the stage door afterwards. In today's strait-jacketed world I recognize I'll not see anything this funny live on a stage again. Shame. RIP Jackie - and thanks for the autograph.
Leading B's are louder and you spit less. This lets you be both clean and loud! That's a simple sociological and linguistical fact. I just made that up... but I am prepared to argue this arbitrary view forever and ever as if my soul depends on it.
When he did his Ed Sullivan piece, I never realised he was capable of visual comedy, a genre that Chaplin's genius brought to the world through the medium of cinema.

I went to see this show on Broadway. While I was crossing the street to get to the theatre, there was Jackie standing outside chatting with people. What a mensch!
Aman Tuli 😃 Surely you like some other comedians? Speaking of Jackie, do you have a favourite show? Looking to see more of JM on CZcams. I saw him at The Royal Opera House in London about 7 years ago. It was fantastic!
