- A last-minute heave from Haynes King to Christian Leary for a touchdown after Georgia Tech recovered a fumble with 30 seconds left sealed a 23-20 upset victory for the Yellow Jackets over No. 17 Miami. Georgia Tech QB Haynes King went 12-25 with 197 total yards and two total touchdowns in the win. Miami’s Tyler van Dyke went 24-36 with a passing touchdown in the loss.

What I will say is that was a very impressive win for the Jackets. The kind of win that can propel their program back to the national radar. I’m old enough to remember when the Jackets were great at football. Big win and congrats to big GT!

What a game
I remember a game probably around 10 years ago now that Miami pulled off a long touchdown play with no time left on the clock to defeat the Duke Blue Devils. Now the play has been looked at and just about everyone agrees that it should not have counted and Duke should have won the game because there was 6 or 7 penalties against Miami on that last play but nothing was called and Miami won the game. So, with all that said, this game definitely reminded me of that game and the sickening feeling it gave me and I can only imagine many Miami fans/players felt the exact same as I did back then.

Now Ill give GT credit for playing a huge game but that call was ridiculous. Running back should have been down. Nevertheless, they should have run th V formation

This is a top running back for a top collegiate football program. He should at least understand the basics of the situation whether the coach tells him or not.
