- Rick feels like a fool after witnessing Amber and Deacon’s passionate kiss, but he doesn’t know what to do now that Amber is pregnant with his child, he decides to confide in Thorne. Massimo hopes Stephanie can talk some sense into Taylor but her decision to tell Ridge everything is set in stone. Stephanie and Massimo are about to exit when a furious Ridge arrives home. Ridge is overcome with rage by Massimo’s cavalier attitude and belts him. Brooke tells Megan she thinks Taylor has buried herself with this lie and is confident Ridge will finally walk away from his marriage.

Look at ridge on his high horse talking about deceitful and keeping secrets when he just recently knocked up his wife’s “best friend” because of a fake email and kept it a secret for 7 months. Him downplaying everything Brooke has literally said about breaking up their marriage is more disrespect.
And even if he thinks Brooke is just being flirtatious, he shouldn't encourage it by going to be her saviour or talking about how he feels about his wife with her. He is encouraging her "flirtatiousness" with him.
If he thinks Brooke's antics are no big deal, he should therefore have no trouble in just staying away from her unless absolutely necessary at the office. If he sees her on one side of the street, he should cross to the other.
Maybe he should hire a liaison between him and Brooke at the office lol.

Even when he found out Bridget wasn't his son he still wanted to be with Brooke and rejected Taylor. He wanted to marry her and because of a misunderstanding he proposed to Taylor second choice with a dress he designed for Brooke. Later on he left Taylor when they were about to get married because of a lie and went back to Brooke. The first time he let Brooke go was because he didn't want to break up her family with his father. That's just the way he is. Taylor being once again his second choice. So obviously you are confused about the history.

Stephanie rolling her eyes at Ridge and scoffing was the high point of the episode . . . All downhill from there.
Ridge, buddy, righteous indignation and calling other people fools is not a good look on the man who just knocked up a woman because of an e-mail.
I wish Stephanie and Taylor would throw the Morgan thing back in Ridge's face. Something like, "Oh sorry Ridge, I guess we should've just _forged an email_ from Stephen Logan to get Brooke to go to Paris."

Not long ago she was literally seconds away from being killed because of Ridge, and the whole thing has been memory-holed. Ridge thinks Stephanie and Massimo ruined Brooke's relationship with her father( she has never had a relationship with her fathwr, btw)and her family harmony 😂. She stabbed almost all the members of her family starting with Beth, the mother.

Even if she was mad at her father, she literally couldn't wait to get on a plane with Ridge instead of at least staying to help her mother thru this, as Beth was also affected by Stephen's lie.

She's prob relieved that her dad isn't dying and can come back to LA to run down Ridge.
Interesting that the first thing she does is start to commiserate with Morgan about Ridge leaving Taylor, and she hasn't even called her own children, who, incidentally, are also her family.
Brooke really looks terrible in these episodes. Just bottom tier in terms of soap leading ladies.

I went back to look at the epis of Brooke bawling over how Steph basically exiled her parents to Paris (where apparently there are no planes) and broke up her family.
And yet.. Since then she has made very little to no attempt to be with /visit them, other than throwing them an invite to her weddings to all the Forrester men.
Literally her parents have had to watch her marry a father and his 2 sons. And smile thru it all.
And now, she had the chance to be with her family and she's more mad that her father isn't dying, and couldn't hop on that Forrester plane fast enough with Ridge to get back to her day job of chasing him round LA.
Ridge talks about what Steph and Mass/Moss did to the Logans? Brooke doesn't even care about the Logans. She's sad to even carry that last name, unless Forrester comes behind it
