Hi Luke....you make me laugh so hard, and there is so many times I need a good laugh. When you were talking about the spider and was thinking about burning the tent down I laughed ,and knew exactly how you felt because I’m terrified of them! I was having a hamburger and looked down on my arm,and there was a huge spider I brushed it off so hard with my hamburger hand and it flew across the table and hit my friend,so funny!!! Then I sent her to find that damned spider. When you talked about your sun burnt nose ..again I found that very funny. Need those laughs ty! Love your videos, the sunset that night was so stunning and just gorgeous. I really liked that tent also. Looked very sturdy and roomy. Till the next video...🕷🕸👍☕️

When it comes to food you have a lot of options.
Rice, sausage and cheese (like I had) are really light and cheap too. Mountain House isn't too badly price for what you are getting. Instant oatmeal is cheap and light too. Skip the BBq beans though...very heavy! Also you can make biscuits too with little weight and cost.
    Take care and have fun.

I just drove from Virginia to that area and stayed at the Seven Foxes Cabins. You are right, this is a beautiful area for camping, hiking or even a little bushcraft. Cant remember the name of the trail me and the Mrs hiked but it went south and ended at the Foot Hills trail / toxacany river. Didnt bring the tent so the Mrs. wasnt to fond of the tarp shelter. We headed back and the last two or three miles were in pitch darkness. Needless to say she wore out a pair of CR123's. :) *Subbed*

I've heard horrible things about the big one. Ours has the small v8 and it does pretty good on gas and hasn't had any issues so far. 177,000+ miles. Other than this van, I wouldn't own a Dodge.

TheOutdoorGearReview I am not sure... I think it was a small engine because it struggled climbing steep mountain roads.
The contractors in my area that usually use those Dodge chassis van are quickly replacing them with Nissan NV series. All of a sudden the Dodges disappeared and there are these huge Nissans. Never even seen them before this year. Maybe some company will start customizing them. Personally I like the mechanics, electronics and engine that is put in the Tacomas. But I don't want a pickup.
At this point I am considering a Landcruiser with a Airstream Sport trailer. But its all just a pipe dream considering the expense. The Landcruiser is $70K and the Airstream is $40k.

ejuice does not and has not ever contained anything used in antifreeze. That was a rumor started by the big tobacco companies to deter people from trying ecigs. There are 4 ingredients in ejuice nicotine being the only thing "bad" in it which is the equivalent of caffeine and is not the cancer causing agent in cigarettes. but anyways lol awesome to see another vaping backpacker super awesome. You mention what your going to do with your trash. For The standard camp it should have - first thing at camp dig four pits. a 'wet' pit for cooking refuse, a 'dry' pit for dry trash. a fire pit and a toilet pit. The toilet pit should be somewhere down wind and down the water course. soft earth and an intrenching tool are left to cover the waste. with your wet and dry pits you should take home with you plastics and non bio-degradable items such as styrofoam cups and trays. carry out with you what you can. before leaving your camp for good fill in your pits and leave no footprint.I'm enjoying your films. all the best man...happy trails...

You must have been along the Old 105, right?
About those Ticks, my friend...Permethrin is your friend. Get yourself some Sawyer's Permethrin spray and treat your hiking clothes; pants and shirts. Spray them down liberally on the outside surfaces...NOT on inside surfaces that are next to your skin. Hang them and let them dry 24 hours before wearing. The treatment will last over 5 - 6 clothes washes before you need to treat them again.
I treat my hiking / fly fishing clothes each season before heading out...I am rarely bothered by ticks and live in the state where you are in this video. I also sprayed the outside of my backpack.

TravelDude1981 Thanks brother. It's nice to meet you by the way.
As for the meets/cheeses, they came from a company call figis. I would recommend getting only what you think you will use in a few months. They don't seem to last long.
      Cheers.
