    The Samsung Jet Bot AI+ has good cleaning performance. Our testing showed it was able to remove 95.8% of total debris by weight across all floor types. It successfully removed all the long hair, navigated our office well, and avoided the majority of objects we placed in its path. With the Clean station, the Jet Bot will automatically empty its dust bin, reducing the amount of maintenance for the user. Overall, the Samsung Jet Bot AI+ is a solid choice and includes many of the features we look for in a robot vacuum.

    6:27 I have this exact same setup and every time it empties itself, my husband/wife freaks out and thinks there’s a jet in the house. LOL!

  • @aaroncorsi
    @aaroncorsi Před 2 lety +9

    One thing you didn’t point out that I think is a huge deal for practical usability: you can’t schedule this robot to clean only specific rooms. You can clean a specific room on demand using the app but scheduled cleaning is for the whole house only.

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 2 lety +2

      Oh interesting, I hadn't really thought about that while testing, but that is a good point.
      Thanks for adding it to the discussion, Aaron!

      I agree, I got the basic Jet Bot vacuum with no auto empty dock brand new for $250. It's really an excellent vacuum at that price, but the lack of specific room scheduling is just poor software design. In a way, I feel better knowing the flagship has the same problem 🤣. Samsung could easily update and add this option, I hope they do. That would make the vacuum close to perfect.

    • @MikeMPharmaCyclist
      @MikeMPharmaCyclist Před 2 lety

      I also wish they would add an
      toggle option to unselect all rooms then just select the ones you want. I hate having to unselect a bunch of rooms every time I want to clean just a few. It's amazing to me the software engineers don't think about this basic stuff.

    It kinda funny when ppl expect to much from those tiny cute robot :D to do everything. What ppl needed is terminator to terminate those dirt and clean everything. Kidding xD.
    I think this robot & other are for a really busy type ppl, and who live alone or still single, and for ppl who love they old age parent :) .
    Btw, nice vid bro ;)

    I got a ripping deal on a AI+ for $300 sealed new from a retired Filipino guy.
    Still looking for the "Intelligence" in this thing. It got into a loop in my hallway corner near the laundry room entrance for a good 7 minutes as I watched it hit the three walls and back up over and over for 7 minutes. A hallway. I could see under some chairs or obstacles but an open hallway?
    Also so far has only done ONE big room my formal living room and has yet to go into my adjoining kitchen tv room. You know the entire downstairs area. Freaking expensive machine at full retail for a one room vacuum.
    My Neato D3 maps out the entire downstairs and vacuums it.
    Hopefully it improves or it'll be gone. Waiting on the AI to kick in.

    How does this Samsung jet bot ai+ compare to the iRobot roomba s9+ or the roborock s7 maxV? Debating between these 3 vacuums primarily for high pile carpet with small areas of hardwood floor. Needing something that will deep clean the carpet and does the best job of completing the whole house without getting stuck.

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 2 lety +2

      Samsung Jet Bot AI+ is a better navigator than Roomba, similar to Roborock. Cleans worse than Roomba, but about at the same level as Roborock.

    • @matthewwalker3278

      So if you were to recommend 1 robot vacuum for a mix between carpet and hardwood, which one would you recommend?

      @@matthewwalker3278 What's your budget?

    • @matthewwalker3278
      @matthewwalker3278 Před 2 lety

      Around $1,000. It’s flexible. Want to make sure I get one that will last a long time and have little problems. Some family of mine has the Samsung cyclone force SR2AM7065WS and have had multiple problems with that so I want one that will be reliable and not have any many issues.

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  Před 2 lety +2

      @@matthewwalker3278 I'd go with the Roborock S7 MaxV Plus - amzn.to/3QcWPDg - it's around $1.1K, but hopefully still within budget.
      Roborock has the best navigation, among the best obstacle detection, excellent mopping attachment, and just barely worse than Roomba when it comes to raw cleaning power. What little you give up in terms of suction / cleaning performance you gain far more in navigation and hands off ability.
      The Plus version includes a self empty dock, which is critical. If you want to save $300 you could go with the non-plus version.

    This vacuum is garbage. It has a fault with batteries having bad components, and Samsung refuses to sell a replacement battery. They claim its not user replaceable, even know it is. They make you pay 500$ plus shipping to send the entire unit in for a battery replacement.

    so basically .. poor suction... garbage at fine material... and takes forever to clean... and you have to clean it every use.... Yeah No thanks... I will stick with my S9+ and J7+ Both do a better job than this junk bot... this is just another knock off of the already failed DYSON bot vacuum. Dyson dropped the project when they realized their design was garbage... This looks like a cheaper knock off of that same bot. Who buys this shit anyways?
