    Hey chu, nice video man. Question about matching 808 Bass with Kicks. I don’t know how to use them both effectively without having too much going on in the lower frequencies. Should they have the same pattern? Thanks for your help

      What you can do to help with that is sidechaining kick to 808 so both don't clash in the low ends. Btw if your 808 is punchy enough you don't always have to add a kick in

      You can have the kick hit on every 808 hit but you can also just have the kick doing its own thing too
