I remember going up to a stage which was set up at a small motorway service station. And I still remember how overwhelmingly high the stage felt and how low I felt about myself on that day. As I came down from the stage, running away from the place while a hollowness hit me hard, there was a lady who stopped me to hand a four-leaf clover. ‘A Four Leaf Clover’ is a song I worked on reminiscing about that evening and appreciating the genuine warmness I felt. This song presents the atmosphere and how I felt in that special moment, in a narrative tone, just like I am telling you a story. 고속도로 옆 작은 휴게소에서 공연을 한 적이 있었습니다. 무대는 높이 있었지만 그곳에서 저는 가장 낮아 보였지요. 공허한 마음으로 무대를 도망가 듯 내려와 달려가는 저의 마음에 네잎클로버를 심어 주신 그분께 감사하는 마음과, 제게는 너무도 특별한 경험이었기에 그때의 분위기와 제가 느낀 감정들을 저만의 선율에 담아 이야기하듯 만든 곡입니다.
