I think the crew was better protected in the cab of the "Genesis" locomotives. The Charges cab is lower to the rails were most impacts are going to occur!

Yes, sure. These locomotives are the newest generation of passenger locomotives for Amtrak, and they are manufactured by Siemens mobility in Sacramento, California. California Zephyr trains occasionally pick up some of these locomotives in California and take them to Chicago to be put into revenue service. Does that answer your question?
