The anime was epic till season 3 when Netflix f-ed up. A1 studios (who did seaon1, 2 &3) wanted breaks and Netflix being Netflix they contacted another studio who f-ed up the animation and season 4 onwards is just bad.
Man, The Seven Deadly Sins was my first anime. I love it so much. The animation quality dropped significantly with season 3, which is a shame (the animation studio changed), but the characters and story are still amazing. I will always hold this anime dear to my heart.

Yeah definitely man, the first season was animated well and the second was hands down the best animated. The third was a big disappointment animation wise but I think the brought it back a little bit with the fourth. Character and Story wise though it’s one of my favourites
Ayyyy,wyk it is my first anime ever as well(i think i watched it a couple of months before season 2). + although it's a bit sad what happened when the studio changed and it lost a lot of it's fanbase,but truly it's one of the best stories that you can find there,and despite all of what happened it remains one of my best animes until this day.
The best way I could describe seven deadly sins is that it's one of the most unique anime in the sense that you do not begin at the beginning of the journey. You begin somewhere in the middle and need to piece together what happened before everything that's currently happening in the show.
That's why it would be helpful to watch the openings and endings while watching the anime, there are some bits and pieces of dots that could be connected. Also because the openings and endings are just wonderful too.

NO WAY YOU REACTED TO THIS. this used to be my favorite anime of all time and even read the manga until the end but sadly the people who were doing season 3 with a crazy deadline dropped it not too long before release and some other people picked it up so season 3 has pretty bad animation but the story is stil top tier. after season 3 it improved
i honestly didnt see anything wrong with the show after season 3. however, just recently tried to watch the brand new special episode on Netflix that came out like last week and only lasted 10mins it was dreadful.

The Seven Deasly Sins is a great anime, the quality dropped quite a lot in season 3 but it is still a good anime, the story and the characters are very good, you should check it out

I personally feel people overexagerate the drop. It wasn't that bad and barely noticeable the. I only noticed cause people talk about it so much. Only season 5 was a little rushed that's all. Genuinely love this show so much.
The Seven Deadly Sins is an anime about seven FORMER holy knights of a kingdom who got prosecuted for treason. After their escape, seven of them had separated to different places to hide away from the knights that are hunting them. Later a girl came looking for the seven former holy knights asking for help save the King of the kingdom from the Holy Knights. Sorry if its somehow lil info but this the only summary of the story I could say that wouldn't spoil the anime. I could refine it further or someone could write a good one but this is only within my ability. Edit: fun fact - on the second OP you'd watch is made also by the one who also sang "Database" from Log Horizon, Man with a Mission. A band of five who wore a wolf head as a their trademark.
It’s been so long since I’ve seen 7DS that I forgot how great the openings were, it literally took me half the song to remember Rob the Frontier and then I was shouting “Frontier!” by the end… such a nostalgic show
Gets darker and darker the further it goes, also has some comedy here and there but when it does come to the comedy part it's perfect and it does live up to its hype from the openings and goes beyond. Not all the 7 deadly sins are human btw. Fight scenes are very satisfying and very well animated. One of my personal favorites, love it. You'd definitely enjoy it based on what you described you like plus your previous reactions. Thanks for doing the openings, now please do the endings (and Perfect time OST that is also from seven deadly sins) :)
Lets try to explain this Anime without any spoilers :D Yes, there are Demons(The ten Commandments), the Goddess Clan & the Seven Deadly Sins. Short Story: The good guys try to slain the evil guys BUT there is so much more, more & MORE which makes this Anime awesome! There are so many stories inside where you'll think like "what the hell?!" :D It has some funny parts, some dark parts but ALSO some sad parts (i know you get emotional very fast, but you would love this anime 100%!) And also: The little pig, named Hawk, you gonna love him! :D

The opening 8 is without doubt, among my top 10 opening (after watching more than 550 animes). It simply touches me emotionally in a way that rarely happens.
Seven Deadly Sins is not in my top shounen (for teens) manga/anime, but I consider it a good starting point. It's easy to consume and it's full of action and fun characters. I think you would enjoy it. PS: React to the steins;gate opening songs (the visual novels and the anime) and include Steins;Gate zero.
I fell in love with this anime from day one. I watched the entire season 1 in one day straight. Season 3 is the black Sheep in therms of animation since they switched Studios and the result was not good, but anyways, it did not ruin my experience at all. It is for sure in my top 5!

General description of the early anime. A princess searches for the former heroes of the realm, The Seven Deadly Sins, in order to help her help her kingdom fight off corruption. Later on there's a holy war, revelations of who the character really are etc etc. It does borrow themes and characters from Arthurian lore. Just wait till you figure out which one is Merlin...... The original Seven Deadly Sins series has concluded but is now continuing into the next generation of characters in the latest movie on Netflix which introduces the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, the characters of the sequel manga.
Man. Nanatsu no taizai(seven deadly sins) is a very good ride of a shounen anime. Atleast for the first two seasons. The manga is better and the sequel is interesting as well Regardless the sawano anime ost is really good. Enjoy!
It's similar to Attack on Titan in the sense where things happened in the past that the audience won't know but foreshadowed in nearly every scene. This is essentially a light hearted anime by the way but more like a lighthearted person with depression it's smiling outwardly but on the inside there's complicated stuff going on Lots and lots of big reveals, highly recommend

This series is one of my favorites, the characters, music, world, and story are all pretty good, but the production quality from season 3 and onward turned into the Seven Deadly Frames. If a studio decided to remake those seasons, I think it could be perfect, but for now I need to try to read the manga. High recommend
I already watched it like 6 or 7 times AND it was the first anime I have seen thanks to my brother and I love it so much ❤️ . But I don't understand why people hate on it so much because it's so good 🫶 ❤ 🩷. So if you don't like the seven deadly sins you are wired 😮💨.
Season 1-2 are definitely awesome and top tier level, this anime had potential to be one of the goat but unfortunately season 3 was an absolute mess when the quality should have improved when the animation should have been at it's best when we had the most interesting and big fight happening the studios had to do episode with extreme death line so obviously they wouldn't produce the quality required for those episodes everything just went downhill due to the lack of good anime during season 3.
YESSS this show has an amazing OST, done by Hiroyuki Sawano that did AOT, Kill la Kill (and Guilty crown i mentioned on a previous vid) and a whole lot more! Amamiya Sora, once again, singing for a show she is cast in! She sang the 2nd to last opening here, and also sings some of the ending songs too (all the EDs are really good so I'd suggest checking them out!). She voice acts as the long white haired girl, Elizabeth, that you see with the MC, Meliodas (who is voiced by Yuki Kaji known for Eren in AOT) The show itself is fun, but sadly the animation quality drops slightly after season 1, then season 3 onwards is quite frankly a joke on the production side. The story itself is actually pretty good though, and it has a really nice mix of character developments, comedy, action and some more serious moments. Its world building and plot twists were also good as well. although, most of the memes from this show are mocking the quality drop and mismanagement, if that says anything. Its still definitely worth watching imo, just be aware i guess? Thanks again for the great reaction! I look forward to them and it is always fun to watch EDIT: If you enjoyed OP 3, the groups Grandrodeo and Flow have some amazing songs in other animes. You would have heard flow in naruto, durarara and code geass (I think they wrote some new songs for the 2022 rerun of Code Geass as well). Granrodeo have done songs for Bungou stray dogs, Baki and Kuroko no basket (I heavily recommend KnB Opening and Ending songs!)
@@bucky8207 I could see that view yh. If I remember cirrectly one season had more consistent, good animation, the other had slightly worse, but with scenes with better animation (I hope that makes sense?) So it just depends on preference. It has been a long while since I watched though.
The 4-episode Seisen no Shirushi (Signs of Holy War) takes place between season 1 and 2, and it's a TV series actually. Btw, the studio that made the 1st and 2nd seasons got changed durring the 3rd season's production because the reception wasn't high enough and the sales of the original movie that released at the time were quite low. And the studio that was then supposed to finish the 3rd season didn't do it because they were already stacked with projects, so an even different studio animated it in secret. Also, a few months back the sequel series called Mokushiroku no Yonkishi (Four Knights of the Apocalypse) hand an anime announcement.

The story is unbelievable and everything is not as it seems w the beginning openings lol It's ended, but they're creating a spin-off based on the next generation protags basically. Seven Deadly Sins was first anime I rewatched right after finishing the first season. I loved it so much and couldn’t wait for the 2nd season. It is an amazing ride, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. It’s amazing.
The seven deadly sins takes a lot of inspiration from old english lore mostly king authur but not the knights of the round table. its follow up the four horsemen does take more from the knights of the round table. if you learn their names and you start see connections.
This was such a good show. The show is over but they ended the show with a movie so make sure to watch the movie if you do decide to eventually watch this show

definetly one of the animes you can't get wrong with. the anime is mostly lighthearted and comedic in the beginning, the first two seasons, but then it first turns dark very fast. also i want to recomment the animes "kill la kill" and "tengen toppa gurren lagann"
The Seven Deadly Sins takes place in the age of Arthurian Legend, Hell Arthur does make an appearance in this anime. But it's centered around 7 Holy Knights known to be the most powerful in their respective kingdom but were listed as traitors and were separated separated.
Best shounen ever written, hands down. 3rd season was a bit of a downfall but the plot is still awesome, I also read the entire manga and it's FANTASTIC. By the way there is another opening that you missed of the specials season (which takes place between the first 2 seasons).

To be honest you were kinda close. The seven deadly sins and the holy knights are fighting against the demon clan to end the holy war that started 3000 years ago to break the curse on the main couple in the show .
The anime itself and the story involved it great, top tier. Unfortunately, at some point the animations drops for 1 to 2 seasons, but picks back up later on. It is a Netflix anime
Long story stort its about stuff between demon clan, goddess clan, human clan, giant clan, and fairy clan. And yeah this anime is amazing! Their actions and of course the story between every couples here is so touching. Actually i love the insert song more than the opening. You need to listen to 'Perfect Time'. The song is in English and I think its more like their official theme song and its not Seven Deadly Sins without 'Perfect Time' song. It gave you the vibe!! Btw the 3rd op is sung by Flow x Granrodeo. And if you like those kind of music i think you should check out Kuroko No Basket openings next because Granrodeo sung a lot of it.Also please check out Free! openings. It got the rock vibe too and sounds amazing 💜
The SDS (Seven Deadly Sins) is one of my top 5 fav anime. The first season can be a little pervy and the quality of animation takes a bit of a drop in season 3 but the overall story is absolutely amazing! It’s one I where end up rewatching my favorite episodes all the time! I’d say the show is definitely a light/dark battle and it’s also very fantasy and legend based. We’re talking fairies, giants, goddesses, demons, humans, magic, and knights. And you’re right! The fight scenes are incredible!! Absolutely awesome!
I'd say 7 deadly sins has even better OSTs than the Ops, since lots of the OSTs were made by Hiroyuki Sawano (The main music composer of AOT- he did YOUSEEBIGGIRL, call of silence, and more). I'd really recommend checking out the OPs and Eds that Survive said the prophet, Blue Encount and King Gnu made for Banana Fish! The soundtracks for this anime are extremely well done, but the Ops and Eds are on a whole other level. And they seem like music genres that you'd enjoy.

The Seven Deadly Sins took me on a journey and oh boy what a journey it was. It was my first REAL anime and it was an emotional rollercoaster from the absolutely amazing fights to the heartfelt scenes that made me teary eyed (two in particular). I am sad that the animation dropped in season 3 due to the animation studio changing however it didn't take away from the story or the characters arcs in the slightest. It will always be my favourite anime because of the story with how unique I find it to be and I highly suggest you watch it as your first anime too. I feel as though it sets you up really well to carry on watching other great anime's afterwards.

Summary to Seven Deadly Sins [ without spoilers ] So before anything I would say this that Seven Deadly Sins was an amazing show but unfortunately the quality of animation dropped in I think season 3 [ as another studio started animating it ] and because of that sadly the show started getting hate and after that it was not that much popular anymore . Fun fact despite the animation quality dropping it still was good enough to be watched but I guess maybe its just me . Seven Deadly Sins is a adventure , funny and fantasy based with dark story . The show focuses towards a boy named Meliodas and a girl named Elizabeth . After sometime being away from his people Meliodas starts regathering his crew as he is doing this , some people are trying to get the powers of demons due to this the world is back in times of war . I really really loved the story due to the personalities of the Seven Deadly Sins as the show progresses I love the character development in them .
if you are going to watch this masterpiece of an anime the whole series is on Netflix, also the animation in season 3 is slightly fixed, that's my recommendation
btw to clarify OVA stands for "Original Video Animation" and it refers to side episodes that are either not canon to the story (not from the original source material) or canon episodes (from the source material) that they could not fit into the main seasons due to lack of room or time when the season was airing. It is very common for OVAs to have their own separate openings especially when they contain content that is not relevant to the main plotline of the story. Sds was one of my first animes i saw and still is one of my favorites even when they butchered the animation i still like it. Recomend it, its starts as a adventure comedia/basic good vs bad story but basically turns in to a dark story about anges,demons and gods fighting a 1000yo war..

Lets try to explain this Anime without any spoilers :D Yes, there are Demons(The ten Commandments), the Goddess Clan & the Seven Deadly Sins. Short Story: The good guys try to slain the evil guys BUT there is so much more, more & MORE which makes this Anime awesome! There are so many stories inside where you'll think like "what the hell?!" :D It has some funny parts, some dark parts but ALSO some sad parts (i know you get emotional very fast, but you would love this anime 100%!) And also: The little pig, named Hawk, you gonna love him! :D
And to be specific, the Seven Deadly Sins is the group of good guys. The reason behind the group's name is for you to discover.

Fun fact, the lead singer of Granrodeo who (alongside Flow) perform the 3rd opening 'Howling' is Kishō Taniyama who is the voice actor for Jean in Attack on Titan.
Also Meliodas ( the character you said reminded you of Armin) is voiced by Yūki Kaji - Eren's voice actor :) And finally to answer your question 'is this anime as awesome as it looks?'Yes it is - it has a great story and great characters.

This was actually my first "modern-looking" anime, and my third anime at all!
The opening 8 is without doubt, among my top 10 opening (after watching more than 550 animes). It simply touches me emotionally in a way that rarely happens.
Seven deadly sins is a good example of an anime which may be not that good, but the songs are god level

Seven Deadly Sins is not in my top shounen (for teens) manga/anime, but I consider it a good starting point. It's easy to consume and it's full of action and fun characters. I think you would enjoy it.
PS: React to the steins;gate opening songs (the visual novels and the anime) and include Steins;Gate zero.

I fell in love with this anime from day one. I watched the entire season 1 in one day straight. Season 3 is the black Sheep in therms of animation since they switched Studios and the result was not good, but anyways, it did not ruin my experience at all. It is for sure in my top 5!
the start is light hearted and it becomes more and more heavy as it goes
I personally love Re:Creators, it's a not so well known anime with really good music, and the openings are simply awesome!
It got 2 openings and 3 endings that could totally make a great reaction video and I am convinced you would enjoy them.

nanatsu no taizai, has a good mix of fighting, story, ecchi, and great moments/music.
General description of the early anime. A princess searches for the former heroes of the realm, The Seven Deadly Sins, in order to help her help her kingdom fight off corruption. Later on there's a holy war, revelations of who the character really are etc etc.
It does borrow themes and characters from Arthurian lore. Just wait till you figure out which one is Merlin......
The original Seven Deadly Sins series has concluded but is now continuing into the next generation of characters in the latest movie on Netflix which introduces the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, the characters of the sequel manga.
Man. Nanatsu no taizai(seven deadly sins) is a very good ride of a shounen anime. Atleast for the first two seasons.
The manga is better and the sequel is interesting as well

It's similar to Attack on Titan in the sense where things happened in the past that the audience won't know but foreshadowed in nearly every scene.
This is essentially a light hearted anime by the way but more like a lighthearted person with depression it's smiling outwardly but on the inside there's complicated stuff going on

The second opening was by man with a mission the band who sang log horizon's opening database.
This series is one of my favorites, the characters, music, world, and story are all pretty good, but the production quality from season 3 and onward turned into the Seven Deadly Frames. If a studio decided to remake those seasons, I think it could be perfect, but for now I need to try to read the manga. High recommend
It's amazing! I just bought the whole book series! I have read it 4 times, and watched the anime at least 11 times!

Season 1-2 are definitely awesome and top tier level, this anime had potential to be one of the goat but unfortunately season 3 was an absolute mess when the quality should have improved when the animation should have been at it's best when we had the most interesting and big fight happening the studios had to do episode with extreme death line so obviously they wouldn't produce the quality required for those episodes everything just went downhill due to the lack of good anime during season 3.

YESSS this show has an amazing OST, done by Hiroyuki Sawano that did AOT, Kill la Kill (and Guilty crown i mentioned on a previous vid) and a whole lot more!
Amamiya Sora, once again, singing for a show she is cast in! She sang the 2nd to last opening here, and also sings some of the ending songs too (all the EDs are really good so I'd suggest checking them out!). She voice acts as the long white haired girl, Elizabeth, that you see with the MC, Meliodas (who is voiced by Yuki Kaji known for Eren in AOT)
The show itself is fun, but sadly the animation quality drops slightly after season 1, then season 3 onwards is quite frankly a joke on the production side. The story itself is actually pretty good though, and it has a really nice mix of character developments, comedy, action and some more serious moments. Its world building and plot twists were also good as well. although, most of the memes from this show are mocking the quality drop and mismanagement, if that says anything. Its still definitely worth watching imo, just be aware i guess?

EDIT: If you enjoyed OP 3, the groups Grandrodeo and Flow have some amazing songs in other animes. You would have heard flow in naruto, durarara and code geass (I think they wrote some new songs for the 2022 rerun of Code Geass as well). Granrodeo have done songs for Bungou stray dogs, Baki and Kuroko no basket (I heavily recommend KnB Opening and Ending songs!)

@@bucky8207 I could see that view yh. If I remember cirrectly one season had more consistent, good animation, the other had slightly worse, but with scenes with better animation (I hope that makes sense?) So it just depends on preference. It has been a long while since I watched though.

The 4-episode Seisen no Shirushi (Signs of Holy War) takes place between season 1 and 2, and it's a TV series actually.
Btw, the studio that made the 1st and 2nd seasons got changed durring the 3rd season's production because the reception wasn't high enough and the sales of the original movie that released at the time were quite low. And the studio that was then supposed to finish the 3rd season didn't do it because they were already stacked with projects, so an even different studio animated it in secret.
Also, a few months back the sequel series called Mokushiroku no Yonkishi (Four Knights of the Apocalypse) hand an anime announcement.
Yayyy!! So glad you got to this! Yes, it's dark and fun and romantic and lovely, and the osts are also so great! The story is unbelievable and everything is not as it seems w the beginning openings lol It's ended, but they're creating a spin-off based on the next generation protags basically. Hope you watch NNT sometime!

Seven Deadly Sins was first anime I rewatched right after finishing the first season. I loved it so much and couldn’t wait for the 2nd season. It is an amazing ride, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. It’s amazing.
The seven deadly sins takes a lot of inspiration from old english lore mostly king authur but not the knights of the round table. its follow up the four horsemen does take more from the knights of the round table. if you learn their names and you start see connections.

definetly one of the animes you can't get wrong with. the anime is mostly lighthearted and comedic in the beginning, the first two seasons, but then it first turns dark very fast.
also i want to recomment the animes "kill la kill" and "tengen toppa gurren lagann"

The Seven Deadly Sins takes place in the age of Arthurian Legend, Hell Arthur does make an appearance in this anime.
But it's centered around 7 Holy Knights known to be the most powerful in their respective kingdom but were listed as traitors and were separated separated.

Best shounen ever written, hands down. 3rd season was a bit of a downfall but the plot is still awesome, I also read the entire manga and it's FANTASTIC. By the way there is another opening that you missed of the specials season (which takes place between the first 2 seasons).

OVA (or OAV) means Original Video Animation (or Original Anime Video), it's basically an animation (could be 5 minutes, could be 2 hours) that is made exclusively for home video, it's not aired either on TV or cinema.

The seven deadly sins and the holy knights are fighting against the demon clan to end the holy war that started 3000 years ago to break the curse on the main couple in the show .
Ova means Original Video Animation, they were basically made and put on dvd, theaters or other areas before it was released on tv in japan.
The anime itself and the story involved it great, top tier. Unfortunately, at some point the animations drops for 1 to 2 seasons, but picks back up later on. It is a Netflix anime
Long story stort its about stuff between demon clan, goddess clan, human clan, giant clan, and fairy clan. And yeah this anime is amazing! Their actions and of course the story between every couples here is so touching. Actually i love the insert song more than the opening. You need to listen to 'Perfect Time'. The song is in English and I think its more like their official theme song and its not Seven Deadly Sins without 'Perfect Time' song. It gave you the vibe!!
Btw the 3rd op is sung by Flow x Granrodeo. And if you like those kind of music i think you should check out Kuroko No Basket openings next because Granrodeo sung a lot of it.Also please check out Free! openings. It got the rock vibe too and sounds amazing 💜

The SDS (Seven Deadly Sins) is one of my top 5 fav anime. The first season can be a little pervy and the quality of animation takes a bit of a drop in season 3 but the overall story is absolutely amazing! It’s one I where end up rewatching my favorite episodes all the time!
I’d say the show is definitely a light/dark battle and it’s also very fantasy and legend based. We’re talking fairies, giants, goddesses, demons, humans, magic, and knights.
And you’re right! The fight scenes are incredible!! Absolutely awesome!
I'd say 7 deadly sins has even better OSTs than the Ops, since lots of the OSTs were made by Hiroyuki Sawano (The main music composer of AOT- he did YOUSEEBIGGIRL, call of silence, and more).
I'd really recommend checking out the OPs and Eds that Survive said the prophet, Blue Encount and King Gnu made for Banana Fish! The soundtracks for this anime are extremely well done, but the Ops and Eds are on a whole other level. And they seem like music genres that you'd enjoy.

The Seven Deadly Sins took me on a journey and oh boy what a journey it was. It was my first REAL anime and it was an emotional rollercoaster from the absolutely amazing fights to the heartfelt scenes that made me teary eyed (two in particular). I am sad that the animation dropped in season 3 due to the animation studio changing however it didn't take away from the story or the characters arcs in the slightest. It will always be my favourite anime because of the story with how unique I find it to be and I highly suggest you watch it as your first anime too. I feel as though it sets you up really well to carry on watching other great anime's afterwards.
you should really try and react to the band "Man With A Mission" you have heard their songs a couple of times now through anime openings and you have been headbanging in all of them

Summary to Seven Deadly Sins [ without spoilers ]
So before anything I would say this that Seven Deadly Sins was an amazing show but unfortunately the quality of animation dropped in I think season 3 [ as another studio started animating it ] and because of that sadly the show started getting hate and after that it was not that much popular anymore . Fun fact despite the animation quality dropping it still was good enough to be watched but I guess maybe its just me .
Seven Deadly Sins is a adventure , funny and fantasy based with dark story . The show focuses towards a boy named Meliodas and a girl named Elizabeth . After sometime being away from his people Meliodas starts regathering his crew as he is doing this , some people are trying to get the powers of demons due to this the world is back in times of war .
I really really loved the story due to the personalities of the Seven Deadly Sins as the show progresses I love the character development in them .

btw to clarify OVA stands for "Original Video Animation" and it refers to side episodes that are either not canon to the story (not from the original source material) or canon episodes (from the source material) that they could not fit into the main seasons due to lack of room or time when the season was airing. It is very common for OVAs to have their own separate openings especially when they contain content that is not relevant to the main plotline of the story. Sometimes they use the same opening as the season they are connected to tho
I think you should watch the openings of the Rising of the Shield Hero, they are a pure masterclass. I think everyone will agree with me ?

Sds was one of my first animes i saw and still is one of my favorites even when they butchered the animation i still like it.
Recomend it, its starts as a adventure comedia/basic good vs bad story but basically turns in to a dark story about anges,demons and gods fighting a 1000yo war..
