Before I watched this video, I regularly used stuff like the weeping vine clutch in Bedrock and it worked so I think you just mistimed most of the test jumps.
He used twisted vines.

I still think it’s strange how bedrock can be more realistic than Java somtimes, like on Java you can fall in a baby thorn bush and prevent you breaking all of your bones in you body at the cost of being pricked
The test jumps all work on bedrock your just making them look bad so then it looks like Java is the best

You forgot that Pistons can push chests in bedrock, but not in java. So you can have better flying bases in bedrock edition.

I play bedrock and Java and some of the mlgs showed not being able to do in bedrock, you can do in bedrock like the twisting vines or the cobwebs but you have to be in the middle of the block.
