Hi thanks for sharing, this is so cool! I was just wondering what you were using to carry the canoe, can you tell me the website or the store, I cant find anything like that anywhere. This has to be the coolest thing I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! That is cleaver. How did you handle the three axis, when the ground is unlevel (side to side), hills and valleys (speed bumps and rain gullies), and turning? It looks like you do this a lot. I'm relying on your expertise.
My buddies and I were talking about this yesterday. I told them about hooking a row boat or trailer to a bicycle and traveling with it that way. I had to show them the video to prove it can be done.
+Rich Toppe Looks pretty simple. Just build a small, padded cradle trailer with cheap 20" trailer wheels and an allthread axle, then hook it on with ratchet straps. Re-use an existing trailer hitch (I use InStep brand) and design a custom clamp-on hitch arm for the canoe. Using a hitch mounted on the bike's dropout will give you better stability as long as you balance the canoe well. You may have to ask around in your area to find a welder (or welding shop), but it wouldn't be terribly difficult or expensive as long as you took the right measurements. If you need further help, ask around at your local bike shop to see if they know anyone with trailer building experience.
+Rich Toppe Wait, hold on. Have you googled, "bike canoe trailer"? Do an image search; there are tons and tons of these things on the internet. I don't know why you'd ask this question without googling it first, but go do that, and if you have more questions, you can read my how-to post.
How far are you traveling in a day? I find I get about 5-7 mhp with the bike and canoe on the trail and about 2 - 3 mph in the water. outdoors.stackexchange.com/questions/7239/what-are-the-navigation-considerations-on-the-monongahela-and-youghiogheny-river It would also be cool if you could post your route someplace. The most difficult challenge I have found about a bike & canoe is finding water access points with safe biking between them that are 10 to 12 miles apart. 14 miles is the most I can do in a day.
This is awesome! Makes you super mobile! I’m trying to do the same thing with my bicycle and kayak
This the best workout video I've ever seen thank you

really cool setup looks like a lot of fun I am getting inspired! thanks for posting
Wish you showed a close-up of the cart without the canoe and close-ups of how the bar hooks up to the bike and canoe.
Bro, this was epic.

I agree with Angie Jimenez below, can you tell us more? If this isn't for sale, can you create a video showing the steps to build it?

What part of this video actual gave ANY details about the trailer?!? SMH
The canoe is the trailer. Just make an axle to strap on the canoe. Sorry it might take some skills and creativity to put it together.
Minus the folding bike
