I recommend adding a revolution option;
When a country/continent loses territory, it's not always lost. If revolution is selected, then that place can get their land back possibly via a chance based choice. Say in a video, Antarctica had the US, and Antarctica had 4 points. The US has a 1/4 chance to get their land back. So you put it into a wheel, win/lose/lose/lose, and you see what it gains.
It would be great along with a unification option!
Maybe if a country that has been eliminated lands on the war wheel, it rebels agaisnt the country that conquered it.
Imagine if government officials use these wheels to determine what to do in a war

These inspired me to make a little game for me and my friends to compete, just finished one with the US states, it lasted 2 hours and we had fun the whole time. So thank you :)

Instead of an auto win for the “stronger” you should make their strength determine odds (I.e North America 6 vs South America 4 would mean 60% odds of a NA win)

I used to play like this alot for myself and i always used that kind of system each country has a amount of point or strenght rating and the amount of points they have is the amount of wheel sections they get in a war
And then factors like terrain (use maps as ref.) and/or strategies and tactics.

If you’re going to do an all out war map next time, I feel like having a dice roll system that determined the outcome of the war would be cool. For example, if player A (who has let’s say 50 power) attacks player B (who lets say has 75 power), they both roll dice but player B gets to roll more or better dice to determine who wins.

The video is great, except one flaw, the battles between Asia and Antarctica. You have to combine the strength of both continents because they are allied, and would most likely help each other in that scenario, but overall, good video!
drew, can you make alliances actually do stuff next time, antarctica tried to attack asia with the help of south america and you just went "nah they fighting alone"
South America couldn't do shit since them and Asia were at equal strength

We need like a build, diplomacy and a trade option,You could build things like bunkers and factories you could do diplomatic things to make it less likely that you got attacked by the nation you do it to, and using factories to make products and you could sell to other nations so that you could get a better, upgraded army and prevent Civil War‘s from happening, civil wars can split a nation or completely fracture it...

Wars should be decided by dice rolls. It's not that interesting for the biggest nation/ the nation with the most points to win every war. You could have bonuses/maluses to the dice rolls depending on alliances/ideology/wether they need a naval invasion or not.
The way it is right now, nations just snowball to n°1 spot.
With dice rolls we could see small nations rise up and defeat larger powers.
You could also have a wheel to determine how much of the nation's territory they take, or even if they just puppet the nation, or if they just sign a white peace. Essentially, a peace treaty wheel.

Idea: When a war happens it should be the continents that have a really strong military that win
Idea: adding a fourth option to the alliance/war/ideology wheel that increases a country's military strength by 1 and in a war whomever has a stronger overall strenght (adding all the power of countries within an alliance), if its a tie both countries (or alliances) would lose 1 strenght. I think this could give a chance to smaller nations of making a comeback.

My two suggestions are that when a country attacks itself there is a civil war and one piece of territory revolts, and also that alliances are buffed someway.
for the future it would be interesting to have a civil war when a country goes to war with itself, even more interesting would be if after a civil war instead of just losing one point there is an option to decide wether the land splits or not, if it doesnt split the country just loses one point, if it does split the main land loses two points (one for losing the civil war and one for losing teritory) and the new country gains one point aka it starts with one
Instead of bigger number meaning a country is immediately more powerful, you should factor a dice roll into it! For example: If Asia has 11 score, and Antarctica has 8, you should roll 11d6 (roll 11 6-sided dice) for Asia and 8d6 (roll 8 6-sided dice) for Antarctica with the highest total rolls being the winner. It means that higher score is still most likely going to be better, but there's a chance of the underdog winning!
here’s an idea: imagine the ideologies worked like rock paper scissors. communism beats facism because obvious reasons, facism beats democracy then democracy beats communism because of the cold war.
i feel like towards the end it gets really hard to have a comeback whoever is in first at the start just wins altogether.

I think instead of making it an automatic victory for whoever has the highest numbers you should make it so its a coinflip battle

Tails = Defender
So if it lands on tails once the attacker looses one HP and it lands on Heads the defender looses one

Suggestion: What if a country invading itself is a civil war, and takes a life away? If their last life is taken from civil war, the surrounding powers not wanted a chaotic region next to them and all invade and slice up the land between them

It's a cool concept, but it could use some improvements. I think it would be better if you used a dice to roll to see who wins the war. Because at one point Europe couldn't do anything because they were weakest and didn't have an alliance so they we're there for no reason. I a Nation has for example 4 Strength it rolls a dice 4 times and picks the highest number, and if the other has 2 Strength is only rolls twice and picks the highest number. And the nation with the highest number wins the war. If both nations get the same number it's a stalemate. Anyways that was just and idea for the next. Good job with the Video

9:32 i think that system may be flawed, are the extra lives really even useful if they don't actually serve as extra lives? perhaps you could split the final territory up so that it ends up being an extra life or you could change the name so that it doesn't seem like it implies an extra life
