Hello I’m from Ontario Canada and I heard exactly what the logger described. Gave me chills what he said they heard. I was hunting alone when I heard the scream of a woman being murderd also heard crying shortly after followed by quick 3 whistle burst and there was a return whistle which came from further away. Before this all happened it was so quiet no sound from anything and I noticed this and said Hugh that’s weird. Shortly afterwards is when it all started. I was frozen with fear eventually I made my way down the tree stand and I did what I never ever do is going down the tree stand with a loaded rifle. Ran to my atv and got out of there as fast as I could. Have not been back sense.
Where was this state province.
In Connecticut, we didn't hear screaming sounds, but I did experience seeing a dark stump while hiking near our home that wasn't there a week earlier. For some reason, I couldn't bring myself to look directly at it, but decided to head out of the woods at that point. That's when I heard a whistle exactly like my Father's whistle for me to come back home. It was so close, I called back that I'm On my way. That's when I thought "Hey, Dad''s home now?" When I got home I asked where 's Dad? My Mom replied He's at work, why?..It wasn't until years later did I put these experiences into a picture that we had Bigfoot in our area. (On top of the encounters in these woods and at our home, the gifting at the house, rock throwing, something in our window twice, my Father finally spraying it with a hose thinking it was a neighborhood prank, etc.)
Connecticut is a U.S. State in lower New England right next to NY. It has a fairly well developed manufacturing and industrial base but is still considered 60%'woodlands as recent as 2024. That's what's surprising about our encounters, they weren't in some deep wilderness area or next to Mt Everest, but in Connecticut.

A fox shounds just like a woman being attacked , my Ma call the police after she heard a fox and thought it was a woman being killed.
Foxes make lots of weird noises. Had one in the woods by me. I could hear the screaming inside 100 yards away. Went to look and spotted Mr fox. Lol
Yeah a lot of different animals can make weird sounds, pumas and sound like someone screaming and Bob cat's can too, but cotes can make an array of different sounds...from yelp's to low tone growl's, to howles,

I went to Prince of Wells island for 11 summers in a row building cabins across from Craig port saint Nick rep right below clewokk mountain. The last year I was there always hitting roof around. I heardwoop noises never known what they were. One night about 1 o'clock. I get up and I look out the front windows. I'm walking to the bathroom and upstairs to story cabins that we built there. And I see this dark silhouette standing there. I'm looking at it. I'm going what the h*** is that and I'm going. I can't be a bear that can't be an Eagle. It's standing on the staircase looking through the living room window 1:30 in the morning. And I said I'm seeing things said the very next night. Same thing get app to go to the bathroom and hear this dark silhouet. Te konico head shoulders and everything standing on the staircase. Overall, looking he is on the other side of the balcony railing looking back into the house again. I'm trying to wake Larry up to tell him to look out the window. Because his bedroom window can look on the balcony and see something out there

They do that! They ate huge in Alaska! Bigger than here in Washington and Oregon. Massive and they know how to blend in with surroundings. When we bought our home here I slept on the family room chair a couple times. I woke up in middle of night and thought the military were surrounding our neighborhood because I looked up at ceiling and saw Red spots thinking they were pointing lasers or Oozys towards our home. As I layer back I could see a small opening through patio door and black figures with red eyes were walking along fence line. Now they know I know so I’ve developed a relationship with mine over last 8 years. It scared the heck out of me. I saw foot prints different sizes up in my garden. They are everywhere around us they hide in plain sight!

Growing up in Connecticut, we had 3 sightings, 2 of which were right in our kitchen window and 1 at night by our campfire in the woods of the nearby Water Shed Company. On the 2nd sighting at our home, my Father was able to spray it with the garden hose, to which it lunged at him. After this, he bought a rifle and we kept it by the kitchen door for that Summer. My Mom, being the Peacemaker, started leaving fruits and vegetables on a stump on our property near the woods. We would find small piles of stones soon after near our home, and 1 on the breezeway right near our back door. We also had urination on our tent at night in those woods and the other sighting I had mentioned. Interesting, this was not in some far flung wilderness region, but in Connecticut!
Where in Connecticut? I have a cousin who lives in Colchester and as kids we used to go camping and hiking all around Day Pond State Park and Devil’s Hopyard, and we would hear all kinds of weird animal sounds that we knew were not from any animal local to the area. Never saw anything, though.
These occurrences happened over a period of years near my Grandfather's farm and 2 other farms and the tract of about 2,000 acres of protected Water Shed land in Central and southern Connecticut. We never heard any vocals but we did have the 3 sightings. Also there was the whistling incident which copied my Father's whistle for me in the woods, even though it was mid day and I knew he was at work. Interestingly, this was in Connecticut, not Alasks, not Canada or some deep wilderness area.

Thanks, over the years, we had incidents of upside down trees, gifting of small piles of stones at the house, and having the house get punched breaking the vinyl siding.

I use to run around with my cousins at night with flashlights. It was at my grandparents farm and as we thought there was something standing in the thickets, one of us took the flashlight hit a new area. It sure did make for flashlight madness.

Right this is pretty sad expeditions with a bunch of idiots pretending to be out in the woods but when the cameras go off they go back to there motel i guess Bigfoot goes with them.

First, taking a film crew and a half dozen morons will cause something called 'noise'! Second, using weak little flashlights will just give your position away and you will see nothing! Third, everyone is clean shaven and neat looking which means soap, shampoo, shaving cream etc... Every animal with a nose will smell you two miles away in the driving rain! Fourth, and this is the really strong point. Don't go chasing after something that is 8 to 10 feet tall and weighs the same as a small car and can kill all of you in seconds!!! Especially at night! 😒
