    Stoked for the series. Last time I tried to DJ with the Force, it crashed things, but I haven't tried again on newer firmware.

    Great Stuff. If there would only be a good Timestretch and/or repitch Algorythm. In my understanding you have to use time consistent loops and Tracks and you cant Change the Tempo easy on the fly because the Timestretch ist very Bad and you should Not use IT for full Tracks.

      Yeah, at present the TS algorithm they've released is somewhat subpar, but there's ways round it, depending on how it's used...I'll show in my upcoming DJ methods.

    I love your videos. Question though, on page 33 of the latest Force User Guide (3.21) it makes no mention of assigning each track to one side of the crossfader. I'm not looking to DJ, but would like to use the Force live, and would love to be able to preview what I play before the world hears it. If I follow the instructions on page 33, when the track is in cue mode (shift + Solo), I still hear it. It only works when assigning the crossfader to the opposite side of whatever is currently playing. Am I correct with this assumption or is there something I'm missing (and akai as well since the omitted it from the manual)?

    • @nicethings
      @nicethings  Před rokem

      If you only want to hear from the cue, and not use the crossfader; mute the channels, you'll still hear them. If you want to make life a little easier, use group. Hope that helps.

      @@nicethings thanks so much! When you say use a group, are you referring to a Mute group like in your other Mute Target video or something else, because I thought mute groups only within one Drum Track, not all other tracks as well.

    Do you run into memory limitations when you DJ with the force?

    • @nicethings
      @nicethings  Před 2 lety +1

      Nah, just purge as you go, and it's never an issue.

    • @nicethings
      @nicethings  Před 2 lety +1

      Update - since 3.1 it's not an issue.
