Moe was extremely sharp in his later years & his timing was still impeccable! Truly an amazing talent that will never be repeated, even in his 70's!
This skit is one of the funniest things I have ever seen! Moe Howard, even at that age, was still 100% on his game. God rest his soul.
70+ years old and still cranking out quality Stooge shenanigans. Truly a master of his craft. May he Rest In Peace.
Moe Howard always the greatest 🙌💯
Moe first performed this in 1946 and here he is in 1972 doing it just like he used to man he still had it in him
I grew up watching the Three Stooges, and I still watch them today. I have to say this Was, Is, and Always will be my favorite show!
Moe Howard,a charecter to the end.what a cool guy
I as a kid could never get enough of the Three Stooges and now ?? I still love those three great entertainers and how they seemed to love to entertain us all. Long live Moe , Larry and Curly.
and Shemp.
ya wish Moe was still here,;.with us,,we need more Laughs in this Crazy World,;.
saaaame
Yes I agree.the 3 stooges probably are looking down and saying what happen!? The world has gone nuts! There isn't any laughter anymore.
Moe Howard appearances on The Mike Douglas Show in 1973,, Moe, despite his age here, was in great form as he
chatted with Mike about Three Stooges History and recreated classic Stooges Moments.. Moe passed away peacefully 4 May 1975 r.i.p
This was classic! Once I saw the table of pies, I knew what Moe had in mind. I wouldn't have minded if he threw a pie in my face LOL 😂.
Moe could be a grandparent who is sitting down with his grandkids telling them so many stories of the past and have the kids coming back for more.
moe was my favorite stooge! Thank you lord for giving us the three stooges! I laughed so hard I cried all the time watching these masters of comedy! They were and still are the funniest ever!!!
I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid. I really admired that Mike Douglas had arranged for Moe Howard to act out of his 3 Stooges role, and adopt his vaudeville persona. I thought it was touching and a tribute.
Victor Mark do you know what yr this was u saw it on tv
Troy Hedges This was taped in the early 70's. Mike Douglas was doing his shows out of Philly at the time.
Susan E Weinberg thanks from florida
@@Potus-he4sl I read elsewhere on CZcams that this was in 1973.
Mike Douglas was a Class Act All The Way......
So envious of Mike here, sharing the stage with comedy legends Moe and Soupy.
Moe is friggin AWESOME!!!
Moe probably would say.a wise guy,eh!? And a smart one!
A pie to the face never gets old.
It depends on the pie. Whether it would be a fruit or hair pie.
Absolutely wonderful! Moe, you were a true delight.
Saw this on channel 2 in when i was 13
5:42 and on.... my God Moe doesn't even sound old. He literally just stepped right out of the 1920s there. Oh, my God.
Aw man it's so wonderful to see these clips. One thing is for sure - age never diminished Moe Howard's ability to make people laugh. I'll always love the Stooges and know that they will never lose their appeal with young and old alike.
Thank you for uploading this! I laughed like I was 10 years old again!!! 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
I could listen to Moe tell Stooges stories all day.
me too!
AceripXF Me three
Soetainly!

I still laugh my ass of at that no matter how old it is. Moe was a professional.
There will never be comedians like them ever again.
This is priceless!!
I want Moe back!
WE ALL DO!!!M.O'B
HELL TOO ME ALL 3 MEN WERE FUNNY YEAH THAT IS TRUE I WISH MOE W,Z STILL WITH US TOO WE ALL NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE HIM TOO 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Pies thrown in the face never gets old.
Hey man, thanks for some great vintage stooges, and stuff you don't see, rock on!
Thanks for watching and Mike Douglas was the man!
yeah man, I heard Moe was reduced to being a janitor sweeping up the Columbia lots towards the end, so sad for a national comedy treasure, would love to see some footage of that.
Good to see at this time in his life he still knew what was going on ! I was watching the three stooges one Saturday morning and my young came into the room and ask me what i was watching , i told him , he sat down and we watch the three stooges for an hour ! After he was hooked ! Just great innocent fun !
That's. 4. Sure. Moe is very AWSOME AND FUNNY TOOO
Moe the Great.
Thank you. I saw this as a teenager, loving the stooges before and after. Mom watched MD.
Thanks,
Ed
The hardest laugh I've had all day thanks for that haha :D Poor Moe, what a lovely man lol
The first time I saw the Stooges short, "Three Little Pirates", Curly had me rolling on the floor with laughter when he put on the bottle bottom eyeglasses and spoke in that high pitched voice...I still laugh just thinking about it......
I loved this variation of"The Maha"routine...that Moe is performing with Soupy and Mr.Douglas.
I love moe .. they made millions of kids happy far after their lives have passed.. beautiful 💖💖💖💖💖
Moe is hilarious he cracks me up everytime what a man with great talents the rest of the stooges were funny as well
I didn't know shemp and curly n more were all brothers..curly was the man ..he was hilarious and gave it all he had ! He put more physical effort into it than the others..no wonder he kept strokin.!
He was too hilarious.
Hello Mary, How are you doing?
Quite the crew--Moe Howard, MikeDouglas, and Soupy Sales!
Fantastic! What a great man and his work was just genius :)
:) Moe and Soupy Sales in a classic Three Stooges routine.
Absolutely beautiful!!!
What a great bit.
so nice to see moe again, i want his hair to be black again. growing old sucks
Agree..lol
I was home sick for the day, as a pre-teen - and saw this particular show. Ya gotta love Moe Howard R.I.P.
Their will never my a show like the stooges ever in the history of tv r actor like moe Larry curly
Don't forget Shemp.
Id honestly be trilled of Moe threw a pie at me
Just as long as he wasn't throwing a wrench.
Me too!
Never thought about that but I wholeheartedly agree.
Freaking Awesome!!!!
Wow! I remember seeing this when it was first on,and I realized Moe had to have done this with his old partners years ago.("Maha-""Ah-ha!")
Splatted in the face by Moe Howard...THAT'S something to put on your resume!
Now this is very Cute Mike Douglas in Curly's role.
He did a great job too!
The lady Moe hit at the 9 minute mark was actually his wife. I think she was still surprised though.
She knew. She had her glasses in her hands.
I knew the person in the crowd taking the pie had be a plant. I’m sure Moe was aware of the potential legal liability that would come from hitting a random person in the crowd with a pie.
I saw this when I was a kid in the 80s. I totally found it by chance.
Moe Howard. Comic genius!! I love seeing him out of his "stooge" element, just as much as I loved seeing him IN his stooge element.
I loved when Curley played the "Maha"...
Moe was on the Mike Douglas Show in 1973 over a series of many months. Moe's other Stooge brothers had already passed away by this time, which is why he speaks of them during the interviews with fond memories..
Moe passed away in 1975.
Hard to believe that anyone had a VCR machine way back then...!
The Sony Betamax VCR debuted in Japan in May of 1975.
The Maharaja of POON, lol!
+Jim McCreery Im assuming it had a different meaning 40 years ago.
TheDarkIllumination Perhaps, but they didn't call them "Stooges" for nothing.
TheDarkIllumination I don't think so! LOL Maybe the word used could be said on 1970's TV shows and get past the censors.
He's probably actually saying *Pune*, a city in India.
The music enhances the comedy lmao
The woman in the audience was actually Moe's wife.
No one asked bitch
J.D. Soos..Thanks for that info.. It had to be someone he at least knew of course, but some of the audience seemed to be a bit shocked by it
nope uhuh NO ONE ASKED YOU, FUCKING ONIONHEAD
Yeah
That's good. They had to use plants because of possible law suits.
Moe was sharp.
Still one of the best routines in entertainment
Simply Fantastic
Soopy and Moe in the same place without a pie fight. One of history's missed opportunities.
Love this!
The Three Stooges were amazing, they will live on in our hearts alway...a true class act.
I think he did that beginning monologue without reading from cue cards... the man was sharp as a tack!
Brilliant. I usually just smile at comedy, but this made me laugh.
Legend. Gone. But never forgotten.
This may be my all-time favorite Stooges routine - thanks!
One of the Great Videos of the Twentieth Century.
The Maharaja bit was one of my absolute favorites when Curly played the part with Moe. I would be hysterical as a kid watching Curly wear those big ol' coke-bottle glasses! And even though I grew up in the 80's, the Stooge's comedy is timeless gold that must be preserved in perpetuity.
i cant like this enough
i remember watching this on tv...
I love the intro this was classic vaudevillian side show stuff and it certainly doesn't exist in any recorded media today. PT Barnumesque hype man material and it was used in many of these early 20th century arts. wow.
Soupy sales one of my favorite comedians!
I would be honored to have Moe throw a pie in my face.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! This was posted about a year ago and then just "went away". THanks for bringing it back!
Man I would loved to be alive then to see and meet moe.
his timing brilliant. never lost a step Moe.
This was fantastic !!!! Moe was great and I laughed like a fool lol
Thanks for posting all these clips.
This is a brilliant recreation of Vaudvill
this is classic!!!!!!! wow!!!!! fantastic
Oh how I am a Stoogies fan Thank you for posting a great classic. You have given me such a rare gift that was before my time and I appreciate it. Again Thank You!
Wow!! I'm so glad this is on film!
Classic!
Beautiful
I would be honored if Moe slapped me in the face and called me a birdbrain. No really.😆
Thank you for posting these clips. I really appreciate it a lot
It was great to see Soupy Sales...and what a great sport!
I would have been honored to get a pie in the face from Moe.
Such good stuff. Thanks for posting this!
He still had it that's for damn sure🤣🤣
Thank you
If your saying thank you to Moe..I agree
This is amazing oh the memories lol
As old as the pie gag is, they still make me laugh. Masters indeed. Points to Moe for noticing "more than one soft grenade!"
Thanks for posting! FANCY!
GOD PLEASE GIVE US BACK MOE HOWARD IN RETURN WILL GIVE U OPRAH WINFREY !!!!!!
