like I know, love and appreciate Patsy Cline, but was not born when she hit it big. So you were basically just born when Shania hit it so big. I’m nearly 60, so I was in my 30s and experienced it firsthand as an adult and it was crazy. Like really crazy. Literally everything she touched was golden. Man I feel like a woman (you probably know it)
You’re still the One (most pop)
From this moment on (best ballad)
And mind you those three plus this song you just listened to were all on ONE album. Hence why it sold 30+ million copies. She really is a late 90’s early 00’s legend.

She's country.. Canadian... Writes most of her own music... perfect woman. Her private life has had its ups and downs but she did a new album about 10 years ago and she's still got it! She kind of reminds me of Chris Stapleton in that she's country but always surprises with her songs.

LOL, love that you saw the vid, as Shania is an extremely beautiful Canadian cultural icon in music - especially country circles, as you said.
Also love that Brad might secretly have a thing for Canadian gals(Alanis, and now Shania) to make Lex a l'il jelly, teehee.
Poor Shania, though, her upbringing was tragic as were her latest few decades after something so simple as a freakin' tick bite causing Lyme Disease that changed her vocal range and ability(health).

Shania Twain (born Eilleen Regina Twain) rode the country sound to stardom in 1995... This was her third record 'Come on over' (1997) that fused country music and pop. Her image also took more a glam fashion than "country girl next door"... As a result, 'Come on over' became a megahit worldwide, selling 40 million copies worldwide, 20 million copies in the US... to become one of the biggest records of the 90's & made Shania Twain a superstar.
Her music videos were all over MTV and radio... "You're still the one" was a huge hit as a pop ballad... Other video singles from that record - 'From this moment on' ... 'Love gets me every time' ... 'Man! I feel like a woman' ... "Honey, I'm home"

Shania and Sheryl Crow are both similar. Very easy on the ears and eyes. Lol. Both are country rock. Crow more so with folk rock, too. Shania borderlines country pop, rock. Either way, both have very good voices, music and videos. Both were huge during the '90s and '00s.
Speaking of hot women, check out more of the '80s pop rock group, The Bangles, particularly Susanna Hoffs. Good locks, voice and guitarist. Whole band was cute, too.
