Sonic constantly on some crazy shit with homelander is so impressive to me, homelander is so tricky to use especially fluidly. Sonic thinks about everything the characters can and can’t do and masters it. Crazy.
They did such a good job making homelander fight style so accurate to his mentality. He throws punches like he would never expect you to duck or block. He uses his lasers as a way compensate for his lack of combat training cause he’s never had to fight anyone stronger than him. So he believes there isn’t anyone. I know TLDR but still cool af
I think it’s fine it’s like sindel, if you up block the first kick you can punish, but if you don’t you have to block, or Flawless Block the second hit, I think it’s pretty fair, mind I’m in elder god and not playing as him
Like sindel can be safe if you amp her move, but homelander can never be safe and he can’t cancel flight fast enough to get a throw punish, I think you just need more game time to understand how to beat it
@@Mexpendable the thing is you can't upblock the first kick cuz all his strings have to much blockstun to upblock, you can only upblock if he's already in the air. if you wanna get out if the blockfinite you are gonna have to use armor, some characters can backdash it tho but I agree wit the first guy, NRS has to change that in some way cuz it's just not good for the game
People are complaining about homelander. At least hes punishable. Meanwhile, you got characters like Ermac who can cancel/overhead/grab you to death for FREE, and every touch is a combo. Id fight homelander over Ermac any day.

You still need to use the laser loops sonic. You're losing out on so much damage. With them you're getting consistent 40+% meterless from any hit. This could be the difference between winning or losing in EVO
@@Alfie065 you do his laser special move and cancel in a kitana fan lift to extend the combo with a jump in 1. It's the optimal combo route for homelander Khameleaon. Much more damage

Apart from having a 3 way mix up after every 35% plus combo, there’s also absolutely no risk of being punished if someone makes the right read and blocks his attack
Not different at all they are the same character, both have laser eyes that hit for 20% and both have instant command grabs😮 I forgot to mention how both also have the ability to 50/50 you every time u get up🤗

That depends on the player actually. Some just sit full screen and spam laser while some play overly aggressive like Sonic.
