For a better flash, you can make a text using a period ".", white, then change its effects to flash and lower the opacity

@@simpleme4581 for me . Put a keyframe at the begining of the clip, and the end of the clip. After that go on "adjust", see brightness. At the begining put the flash to the positive side. Then you touch the second key frame and put it on negative.

i've been using capcut for about 7 month and hv seen lots of tips & tricks but I've never seen some of these before!! tysm I'm definitely gonna try them out :)

It's more work but this will get you a really good flicker effect: Go to your clip and add the effect black flash, then export your clip. Then go back to your clip and delete the black flash. Now add the clip you exported with the black flash as an overlay. Then set the opacity to 15 ( you can set it to whatever you want, but I reccomend 15-10.) Then there you have it! I hope this helps!

For a better flash you can type an underscore in the color black and change its opacity to 10-14 and make its size 100 then go to animation>loop> select flash and set it to 0.1s (aka the lowest setting!)
