Ozone imager on the sustain mode will be the new goto, transients tight and natural while sustain is 3d as hell on the mix. That will be awesome for choruses where you widen the sustain on most bands to make the chorus hit HUGE and still have the same tight transients with no smear where they belong. Awesome.

If you already own damn near everything, you should be able to get a nice upgrade price on just Ozone 10 to 11 solo without having to pay for the whole music production suite or whatever they’re calling it these days. I just paid that same damn fee when N4 and O10 dropped. Now I gotta pay it again? For the same products plus Ozone?

The price for upgrading from Ozone 9 or 10 Advanced to Ozone 11 is the same. Where is the incentive to upgrade now from Ozone 10, I might as well wait until Ozone 12 comes out in 12 months time and upgrade then otherwise I'll be paying twice.
Just bought the bundle a couple weeks ago and spent a week really learning it. To the point where I’m comfortable. I was thinking “it’d be nice to have some more features in the AI assistant to automate things a touch more”. Now boom! Think I’m gonna get the upgrade since the bundle was such a steal!
If you have the previous version it should only be a $50 upgrade. 2 years 100 and anything past that is 150 upgrade up to 5 years. Not much loyalty to customers.
The clarity module looks pretty exciting. The one thing I want more than anything for Ozone 12, though, is a module which uses Relay with the Visual Mixer to show the EQ curves of several tracks or stems simultaneously in the context of the whole mix. Imagine seeing the EQ from several stems in one window and seeing exactly which instrument is masking two other instruments, and then being able to adjust the EQ of each of the instruments separately in one window, even using inverse EQ to unmask between two tracks.
There's a "grace period". I had bought Ozone 8 adv just few weeks before ozone9adv got released, and the dates fell in the eligible grace period. I had sent them an message with receipt of purchase date and they updated the product to 9adv. I've seen Izotope being gracious to others as well If bought so close to release date. Cheers

I was getting ready to write a comment like "guess they had to keep the shareholders happy", or "what could they possibly even add or improve that warrants a major version update this quickly", But... Being able to edit transient and sustain separately (as well as just stereo/mid/side) on all modules is big imo. It might seem like simple additions GUI-wise but that opens up a TON of processing possibilities. Very powerful. The transient/sustain differentiation is the cheat-code and Ozone just streamlined it. There's really no excuses now. If you know what you want, and you can imagine it in your head, you can probably do it with Ozone. It's just a matter of having the idea.
So, I’ve been a fan since like nearly 20 years ago… ozone is the software that opened my mind up to what mastering was. Since, this has went from a fun polishing tool… to a tool even major mastering engineers use along side their various equipment. I wouldn’t doubt some using this more now than ever, especially with options to fix certain issues that would previously only been resolved by requesting mix revision, or by far more work. Either way, I’ll have to get this… this is shockingly impressive even by comparison to other older versions. Great work guys, looking forward to giving this a test drive of my own!

As someone who upgraded 15 days ago for $150 to MPS 5.2 and who’s being quoted $229 now to upgrade again, I think I’ll pass, thanks. Am sure MPS 6.1 will be out in a couple of weeks with RX11 standard for another $200 “loyalty offer”. As someone with Komplete 14 CE, NI aren’t this bad with updates. At least I know when their stuff usually comes out.
I bought a license for Reaper around the time Ozone 9 came out (which I own). Guess what. Reaper got updates and massive improvements since then and is currently on v6.82 while my license is still valid up until v7.99, so probably another half a decade. The takeaway for me is that iZotope's products are short lived and way too expensive for that matter.
We get it, Reaper is a good and cheap DAW. We hear it all the time from Reaper fanpeople who want to shout it to the world via the internet. I tried it, and I agree it's fully featured, but I didn't like the UI. We all have our preferences. Sorry you're annoyed that izotope released new versions of their software that require payment to upgrade. It doesn't appear scandalous to me. Added to that, Ozone 9 is still amazing. No one is forcing you to upgrade the product you happily spent money on. Edit- also, don't forget you should never pay full price, rather wait for the sales and get it way cheaper.

Does FabFilter ring a bell? When I invest money in a product, I don't expect to just get it "As-Is". I expect updates and improvements at least for a few years. But as it seems, that's not what you get with iZotope. So, lesson learned. With iZotope you buy "As-Is".

I’m a big fan of Ozone. I continuously upgrade to the latest version. I just tried Ozone 11, and it blew my mind. I could master a song super fast and efficiently with loudness without distortion, and it sounds excellent and tight with tons of details. Kudos to the iZotope / NI team!!
The transient/sustain modes on every module is very powerful and opens lots of possibilities. I at first thought it was just a straight rip-off of Split EQ, but it being included everywhere is very nice. I really dislike this model of a new Ozone every year or two though, could you just update 10?
The transient / sustain part can be mixed by a gate which is in flip mode in ableton in parallel but for bitwig you also got the spectral suite which is more powerful.
I'm sure it's a bit more than just moving modules around from neutron and rx in ozone. Let's have a free update to every 3 years at least to us users. It'll work people that desperately need the convenience or to be up to date will pay, new users too. 3 years is great to keep everyone in the loop. That's all😊
If vocals could be isolated and then re-mixed within Ozone, why not consider integrating a simplified version of Nectar to facilitate vocal extraction from a track and enhance the mixing process within Ozone itself? This approach would involve analyzing the track and its various musical elements, enabling a more effective blending of vocals with all other elements, as opposed to the alternative approach.

But I guess we’ll wait, not ever overly reliant on Ozone, only really like using the imager and occasionally the AI for making a demo sound solid! I have Ozone 10 "Advanced" which is supposed to be their "top of the line" s/w, as Standard was their "entry Level" version. SO MY Confusion is this? IF Advanced is the higher level version from Standard, then how come the Upgrade from Advanced is $149, and the lower level Standard is only $99, or LESS than the Advanced, for which I already have more money invested in that supposed higher upgrade version? To me, the pricing should be REVERSED. Also it seems that Izotope, along with other Plugin Co's, are now trying to emulate what is already in Eventide Split EQ, which I also own, and can split out the tonal and transients separately. And I also recently "upgraded" from Nectar Elements to Nectar 3 PLUS, at $79, and NOW, they already have another NEW version called Nectar FOUR.

Love the new features... but new Ozone versions are being released way too often. Why not update the same version for at least two years, if not more? I mean I know why, because money, but it's a bit of a slap in the face for everyone who already bought version 9 or 10.
In o10 Well it's possible to adjust the size of the window, but the text is still to small to read, so what's the point of being able to resize. How hard can it be to implement HDPI support? Many does it well, Softube IK Even Waves started to. @@idanhalpern1609

Hi, I bought O11 and almost returned it straight away, but I ended up uninstalling O10 and then it was ok.. Cubase was making a total mess and Asio Guard was clipping... when both Ozones were installed! I was comparing 10 vs 11 and switching between them. With the fact that only one was always on.. After saving the file and opening it again, Cubase went crazy and played everything at once!!! Both Ozones, although one was inactive in the stereo track... And only when I uninstalled O10.. Cubase and O11 work as they should.. O11 is great, subjectively I like the sound of O11 better 😀
Nope. Upgraded to 11 and it’s still doing the same thing. Crashing whenever you try to delete a module in another instance of OZ. They really need to fix this.
At this rate, Ozone 12 will have a module that makes me lunch. Damn!

This is the ultimate display of integrating AI into plugins. I am still using Ozone 9. Izotope have released versions 10 and 11 in quick succession.

I have Ozone 10 "Advanced" which is supposed to be their "top of the line" s/w, as Standard was their "entry Level" version. SO MY Confusion is this? IF Advanced is the higher level version from Standard, then how come the Upgrade from Advanced is $149, and the lower level Standard is only $99, or LESS than the Advanced, for which I already have more money invested in that supposed higher upgrade version? To me, the pricing should be REVERSED. Also it seems that Izotope, along with other Plugin Co's, are now trying to emulate what is already in Eventide Split EQ, which I also own, and can split out the tonal and transients separately. And I also recently "upgraded" from Nectar Elements to Nectar 3 PLUS, at $79, and NOW, they already have another NEW version called Nectar FOUR.

It’s talking about the gui - the grid, smaller nodes, brighter colors, tilted spectrum and extending the min and max frequency that you can see.

Love the new features... but new Ozone versions are being released way too often. Why not update the same version for at least two years, if not more? I mean I know why, because money, but it's a bit of a slap in the face for everyone who already bought version 9 or 10.

In o10 Well it's possible to adjust the size of the window, but the text is still to small to read, so what's the point of being able to resize. How hard can it be to implement HDPI support? Many does it well, Softube IK Even Waves started to. @@idanhalpern1609

Very nice. If 11 Advanced's new features had come out when version 10 had been released, I would have bought it, but my current plugins can do what 11 can do. However, I would buy the new Ozone Imager except it isn't sold separately.
I guess you could just chain a multiband transient shaper and imager from steinberg or melda even with slightly different result.

Hi, I bought O11 and almost returned it straight away, but I ended up uninstalling O10 and then it was ok.. Cubase was making a total mess and Asio Guard was clipping... when both Ozones were installed! I was comparing 10 vs 11 and switching between them. With the fact that only one was always on.. After saving the file and opening it again, Cubase went crazy and played everything at once!!! Both Ozones, although one was inactive in the stereo track... And only when I uninstalled O10.. Cubase and O11 work as they should.. O11 is great, subjectively I like the sound of O11 better 😀
Nope. Upgraded to 11 and it’s still doing the same thing. Crashing whenever you try to delete a module in another instance of OZ. They really need to fix this.
