In 1969, I was so taken with Twiggy’s fabu eye makeup. I was only 10 years old and I bought a Yardley Of London watercolor eye shadow palette. I still have it in my art box. As I got older Patti inspired me to take up photography. Marvelously creative and strong women!
Oh Pattie and Twiggy, I enjoyed your stories very much. I suppose it's safe to say that you two ladies think the same way I do. It could be a generational thing. I was a teenager throughout the 60's and I remember all of it. I was so happy in those days. Twiggy, I feel the same way you do about wearing masks in public stores etc. I am, of course, now in my 70's ( soon to be 71 ) I believe we all thought more alike than not ! In all honesty, I so much miss the 60's and early 70's. Life today is a little confusing. I love you Pattie and Twiggy, I really do. You know how to have a good time, great stories and a good laugh too ! Love it. Stay well, stay safe and I pray you and yours be Prosperous forever.
This was a delightful conversation to *listen in* on! Reminded me of how Twiggy was the inspiration for my Pixie cut back in '68! It looked a whole lot better on Twiggy! I was 9 and just looked like a boy! So nice to see both of you gals having fun! First time hearing Twiggy interviewed, so thank you! A real joy!
What a wonderful episode , loved hearing all of the stories from back in the day. You two beat anyone that is modeling now, you are the real deal. Thank you Pattie and Twiggy, love you both. Take care.
This is just the most divine conversation, ever...2 GODDESSES from my youth...and still, the most remarkable, elegant , fun loving women on EARTH!!...I am glad to soon be 68 years old...wouldn’t want to have missed this most incredible era....we really got , “ the last of the best of it!, “...and don’t you believe it has kept us, 4EVER YOUNG?!...thank you both for being and continuing to be a glorious INSPIRATION!...I’m in California, so MARGARITAS tonight!!❤️❤️❤️🍹🍹🍹
I love you both so much you're literally icons. You both shifted global culture in so many ways. I literally can't express how much I look up to both of you and everything you've done in your lives / careers. Thank you for everything my darlings xx
Great episode, Luv you both! I was 12 + up and tried to emulate both of you.. which was humorous, considering I was just a kid. But I got the "Pattie Hair" down pat. Sometimes I still wear it that way. Except now my hair is Grey. Thanx ladies for the memories! You are pure CLASS!
didn't Pattie say she always wore hairpieces? The girls were all teasing their own hair. My sister was great at it. I was a dorky little kid who let my mom cut my hair short! Ugh......
Just adore both you beautiful ladies. 🥰 now that I found your podcast Pattie Boyd, I will be a faithful listener. You are a remarkable lady. 💖🤗💖 lots of love to you and your love ones always. Hope I could be lucky enough to meet you? 💖💖💖
This is such a treat ! 😁 Both still really lovely. What has also always come across to me is such unforgettable individuality. Both of you changed more than fashion. It was a big change from women being categorised in the media for example, as just a ‘ dollybird’ on someone’s arm. Patti was a famous model before marrying George and Twiggy of course, was well known in her own right too. The perception of modelling changed, I think and suddenly, young women were represented, instead of looking in magazines and not relating to what they saw. These two being so articulate, funny and creative made a huge difference too. I think that the impact of both these ladies has been underestimated. Music had a huge impact of course but there were other influences on young women too !
You two are fashion icons! Plus you sound like me even though I’m sober giggly af ! You’re both absolutely gorgeous! Loved Bowie as well, I think I’d have a heart attack! I consider you both to be my favourite inspirational beauties” myself, being 1/2 English, 1/2 Canadian. The Bowie story was hilarious to hear now I’m dead. I love u. I’m a sober at 63….. cuties forever❤❤
My girl crushes.. I remember the effect you had on us.. Such happy days way back then... You were adored and so unspoilt!

I loved the podcast. Pattie and Twiggy are interesting women. I wish they would a movie about Pattie Boyd.
Used to do my eyes like Twiggy! I grew up 40 miles east of NYC, US but kept with the British explosion maybe because my father was born in Liverpool.

My two favorite models when I was growing up.
Love them both. Twiggy had a remarkable career in entertainment and fashion. Looking forward to the next season.
You gals are so funny! The models today are totally spoiled and pampered! You two ROCK! Still adorable!

Love the 'man flu' thing. So true! Men always think they have Covid if they have the tiniest of symptoms!
