They never do for sure, sir anyone can understand the sluggishness to handle this issue.
Forget delivering on time! They won't deliver justice at all! Otherwise activists and journalists won't be in jail indefinitely! The court would have interfered in the Manipur violence and taken strict action against home minister, wouldn't have allowed the violence against farmers or turned a blind eye to save Ladakh campaign ! They wouldn't have jailed political leaders who openly called for violence in Delhi! They are only chaatukars who's negligence in their duty will lead to total destruction of democracy in this country!

In electronic gadgets anything can be manuplated. That is why devloped countries have banned EVM. But CJi is questioning like an Amateur can EVM be hacked.
1. Sanjeev Khanna's bench has shown great visible reluctance to even considering this case right from the start
2. The answers of the eci are evasive and contradict peoples appalling experiences in booths where they say the vote goes to the BJP whichever button ..
3. There is furore over the high handed manner of the DMs and others in the complaints raised. Complaints not acted upon immediately by the ECI which is allowing the ruling party to get away with strong arm tactics.
Every common man can see it however illiterate
4. Why is benefit of doubt not given to the common man? He is supreme for the SC or not? There is widespread distrust in the Evms
5. All the arguments of the petitioners could have been addressed by making changes. What are we paying taxes for ?
6. By delaying things till mid elections and by not being judicious in choosing judges, the SC has committed breach of trust on us. Is it possible to do a breach of trust on the SC? Or will the same judges decide that too like Gogoi?

@@msunil786 Chandrayan was designed to communicate and controlled from Earth. It was installed with special hardware which allow scientist to control it remotely. But EVM doesn't have any such hardware with which it can connect to some external hardware wirelessly. However, I am still unclear about the process of loading candidates symbol in EVM and how ECI is making sure that at that point a faulty software is not loaded in that. The party candidates present at the time of symbol loading are not educated enough to know such thing.

EVMs won't work with internet. It literally work like a calculator. If you type 1 one will be shown on screen. 3 then 3 will be shown. In the same manner EVMs will work.
When EC openly challenged opposition parties to hack the EVMs then no one did. When EC requested all political parties to attend the demo session on EVM working then maximum opposition parties leaders bunked the session. So now their devotees also not able to know how actually those EVMs will work.

Well, the question itself seems to be wrong. "Whether EVM can be hacked AFTER poll". There was one interview by Karan Thapar interview with Mr. Deshpande who clearly mentioned that EVM cannot be HACKED as there is no chip. But it can be MANIPULATED. Mr. Deshpande also suggested some corrections to the location of VVPAT. If such corrections are made them the possibility of MANIPULATION is reduced. I am surprised WHY Mr. Prashant Bhushan has not referred to this interview & called Mr. Deshpande to witness box. I am also surprised why THE WIRE has not filed any rejoinder in the matter ?

ECl: Marginally tinted glass is used from the beginning to maintain secrecy of the ballot!
Is it not a lame excuse? Moreover, the glass is peach dark and the tint is definitely more than marginal!
Two fundamental rights colliding here, right to information and right to privacy but the former always dominate over the later. Moreover, it’s much easier to snoop on the button pressed than the slip displayed for few seconds only before it is cut and dropped!! Hence, all slips must be counted. EC's statement regarding counding of VVPAT slips is very very childish and not acceptable. What voter can see and verified documents (votes) will not be counted, whereas voter canot see and no idea where his vote has gone, to whom vote has gone, howmany votes have gone in one press in balot unit will be counted for the result, this is rediculas. Who has designed this foolish EVM and VVPAT?. Voter should get printed slip in hand, verify and deposit in balot box. This slips should be counted for the result. Control unit votes can be verifyed for confirmation. The EVM system should be re-deigned according to the satisfaction of the VOTER, not as per the requirement of EC.

100 percent VVPAT Counting Most Important OR Balet Paper elections required.
EVM firmware was written decades ago has bugs which makes it vulnerable to be exploited by entering data with some special characters etc.
EC may hide behind technicalities like software cannot be hacked etc. , so some highly technical and unbiased experts should be asked to question EC.

The evm based election voting and counting system is time tested and 100 percent accurate. Kudos to the system and the safeguarding officials, Jai hind. Thanks to Supreme court and election commission of India for the clarification and confirmation. Thanks to the doubters, now post clarification in the presence of Supreme court the doubters can help them to realise that the EVM system is perfect or come with proper proof of the apprehension if any.
