Tunnel Springs Hike- Move Your Body, Get out in Nature and ENJOY!

My husband and I found a new trail (for us) this morning off the Placitas, NM Road. You turn onto Tunnel Springs road. We decided. to park at the Placitas library, and jog 1.5 miles over to the trailhead.
The road to the trailhead is bumpy, rocky and dirty so we jogged it, even though I am sure our Subaru would make it. Jogging over gave us more miles for the jog/hike, and we loved it. It is a very neat hike with great views all around.
Next week, we plan to take Tunnel Springs to the Crest trail. There are a few other trails that connect with Tunnel Springs. Exploring in nature is so much fun, and the added bonus is a healthy, strong body. Get out there and move, and do it in nature.
