Hai sir am using Marantz SR 8012 AVR with Bic America PL980 tower PL 66 surround PL 28ii center channel which power amplifier to suitable my system, Marantz MM7055 or emotiva basX 7 which one suitable power amplifier sir pls guide me thank you
You got a very nice setup. Marantz 8012 is by itself a great receiver. Emotiva made bang for buck amps back in the days. I have Emotiva LPA-1, Sherbourn SR-120 (Emotiva bought Sherbourn) and Sherbourn Power amp PA 7-350, You are NOT going to gain any noticeable difference with bas x7 amp compared to your receiver. You need XP-5 or above to notice a difference. Given the current XPA price, I would rather buy Marantz Amp.

Soundbar will work only for small rooms. If you have a small room and you don't want to deal with multiple speakers, av receiver and wires, then soundbar is an option. Sound bar will never produce true 5.1 surround sound, they might have 3 drivers ( right, left and center), and the rear drivers work by reflective sound tricking your brain as surround sound. I will buy surround bar, if i absolutely cannot setup a 5.1 speaker with receiver and speakers.
