Agree with other comments, an outstanding exhibition that I went into not knowing his work. (Feel kinda ignorant admitting that) The empathy that he conveys through these images to the subjects and his friends is clear to see. The book was an absolute must too, some of the other images that aren't on display in TPG are also beautiful and moving..
Visited today....not to be missed. By turns saddening, shocking and anger at the plight of people trying to live a decent life. Why were these images not given more exposure at the time?
