with the hyperbaric chamber death: that's reminiscent of the Byford Dolphin incident where four saturation drivers were accidentally taken from 7 atmospheres to 1 atmosphere instantly and you could call what happened to them 'exploding.'
At least one of them literally exploded. There's autopsy photos, looks like chicken.

The other thing is even without the ... issues with that one, a 6000 milibar explosive decompression is definitely enough to do something remarkably similar in effect to flash boiling the blood in the skin, obliterate most of the tubes in the head, act like an M80 fire cracker in each lung, and force every lipid and fat in your blood to force ably precipitate out as a solid.
So it wouldn't look like an explosion, persay
It would kinda look like that Dark Willow episode of Buffy season 6, where she strips the skin from the guy that killed her girlfriend with a flick of her wrist, if immediately after that most of the defining features of his face were damaged from the inside and a torrent of blood escaped what was left of his face....and there would have been no way for Amy to save him from having his blood converted to lard.

When it comes to the chamber. I am a diver and yes that would kill someone in an instant but, in this scenario some accidentally opened it, that would never happened; there is always at least one person watching over the chamber and the individual/individuals inside at all times.

I loved 1000 Ways To Die as a kid from the dark humor of the narrator to the sometimes bizarre deaths that I never knew if they were made up or based off something real but I'd watch it all the time whether they were new or reruns

I was sitting next to my 97 year old Grandmother at one of my nephew's baseball games. He hit THREE hard foul balls directly at her head. I caught two and blocked the third. After the second, I jokingly yelled at him, told him to stop trying to kill his Great Grandmother. He laughed and hit the third at her. He also sent two directly back over his head and smashed his coach's windshield at his next at bat. Also got his first ever home run that day.❤

The decompression chamber story is partially true. It didn't happen to a young lady in a bikini but a group of deep sea oil riggers, and the chamber was underwater. Yes, they did indeed explode, but they likely never knew what hit them because it happened so fast.

I’ve heard a lot of stories about smokers on oxygen tanks/therapy having their addiction literally blow up in their face.
I didn't know there was such a thing as 4th degree burns. I thought 3rd degree was the most.

Theres so many episodes of 1000 ways to die that I had watched where I was going: "Are you sure he/she died?" Homie-vasion is one im interested in hearing the medical behind the scenes of, I had NEVER heard of Lazarus Syndrome until watching that episode a while ago.
A few decades ago the local hospital banned smoking. You would see people with oxygen tanks sitting outside smoking.
The Last One Is Absurd Cause A Hospital Would Never Do That To A Patient. They Wouldn't Even Allow Them To Smoke In The First Place.

This show takes a LOT of liberties with the situations to get to the actual death.
I can't remember if you reacted to it but there's a 1000 Ways to Die clip where a cat lady dies from drinking her cats' milk because the cats were ingesting a plant that causes milk sickness.

There is a really interesting, and really tragic, case of a decompression chamber accident onboard an oil rig. Not only did the four divers in the decompression chamber die, but a diving bell attached to the chamber rocketed off and crushed two other people as well. One of the guys hit by the bell actually survived.

Look up the byford dolphin accident of 1983. This happened to 5 divers. Failure caused chamber decompression while they were still at high pressure returning from a repair/maintenance dive and it resulted in "explosive decompression".
Its brutal but yes, people can literally explode in the correct conditions.
I do remember seeing the one with the two metalhead dudes. Yep, surely they were on something 😂

The part with the decompression has me curious as to how much pressure would it take to make an average size person explode. Between remembering this episode, knowing about Passenger planes being pressurized and the incident with that one Submarine last year, its got me genuinely fascinated purely with how pressure works (That and I could use abit more knowledge for the "How to avoid this" folder in the ol' noggin).
As a SCUBA instructor and someone with more than 2000 hours of bottom time(about 600 below 600 feet), I can tell you than that is the nicest decompression chamber I've ever seen and yes, under the correct circumstances you can in fact experience depressive dismemberment.

The wheelchair death reminded me of a similar death in Red Dragon where the tabloid journalist is ignited on fire after having his lips bitten off before being remotely rolled down a steep street while burning
The burn victim’s one was completely preventable. It’s astounding how foolish some people can be to risk their lives for a smoke.

I love how they made every victim on that show a villain so we could laugh at what was based on horrible situations which almost certainly had nothing to do with their portrayal.

That pressure chamber accident seems a bit excessive, though plausible. 7 bars roughly translates to 70m of depth, which usually requires special gas mixes to breathe. I think the scenario would be more plausible in a saturation diving scenario, where divers are living in a pressure chamber for weeks to avoid the long decompression stops after every dive
3:15 there was an incident where something like this happened, a tunnel disconnected and a lot of people died it kinda flew off the decompression chamber
