I really love how serini adds little details to catnap or dogday like subtle ear, twitches or tail wags it’s so adorable and doesn’t make them feel like mindless beasts like the canon but actual animals!

Hold on, she made it so that DogDay’s gas makes you stay awake because it’s the complete opposite to catnap due to them being opposite that is absolutely genius (also not to mention that Catnap’s colors inverted are DogDay’s colors)
So...Dogday (while he was under the effect of the reverse potion) had the same ability as Catnap. But instead of gas that makes you go to sleep, it makes you stay awake. (Maybe it has the same effect as drinking coffee or an energy drink).
