I saw thousands of shows and artists, I play guitar and bass since more than 20 years and for me you are the greatest guitarist in the centuries.
He is most definitely one of the best guitarists that ever graced this planet.
you can easily say the best ever. I've never witnessed anything like him. He's just so relaxed while playing unreal guitar. Nobody has ever done that before him. He's doing it as if it was nothing. It's insane!
@@klaxcuy591so many styles and genres and forms it would be unrealistic to rank any one guitar player as having ever been the soul greatest guitar player. I'll be the first to admit however I wouldn't even deserve a spot on the judges panel.
@@mikehenrickson3898 in fact I was just talking about technique and when it's about technique, you can easily compare even among different genres. In all humility, my guitar level is well advanced and I can play pretty much any song but when I see Marcin, I just start laughing because for me it's completely unreal. I can guarantee you that nobody has ever done that before with a such ease.
@@klaxcuy591If you watch enough of other guitar players, you'll notice plenty other top players can also play insane passages while making them seem effortless. It takes years or even decades of dedication and practice to make the guitar second nature, making playing it almost like toying with it. However, it was and still is in many people's reach.
Marcin is an example of a top guitarist as such, but to put him far beyond any other is a little bit of a stretch.

Marcin, you are divinely gifted. Your timing, technique, talent and arrangements are impeccable. Anyone who knows guitar, particularly classical and flamenco simply sits in awe of how such a young man can so excuisitly execute those subtle transitions...But the most refreshing aspect of you I must say is your humility and willingness to share of yourself. Wherever this journey takes you please never loose that...

First time ever I heard this piece was in "Crossroad" movie. And I thought at that time, this piece is one of the most beautiful and difficult piece to play on a guitar. I have seen many classical guitar players play this Caprice no.5, but Marcin killed them all, including Steve Vai. Marcin played this song with a remix, and still able to put some percussion to it while playing it. That is insane.
I'm sorry but this is not a guitarist you can just sit and listen too. You have to watch him. It becomes mesmerizing to watch him enter the soul of the guitar and bring out sounds that engulf you. I am just glad I am alive to see such a wonderful young genius. I can bet his parents are so proud of him.
I would love to see him put together a new arrangement.
Marcin, you play the guitar with the prestige and passion that Paganini had for playing the violin mixed with the elegance and refinement of Segovia's guitar playing and Paco de Lucia's intensity and adventurous perfection. I am also self taught since I was a kid. Am 43 now but never made it to your level. Life has a way of distracting you so, stay on course, stay humble, and listen to your mind and nurture it. As a lover of classical and flamenco guitar myself, I used to practice 6 to 8 hours a day for no reason other than, I love the guitar and where it takes me when playing it. You're playing does that to me. You are the Phantom of the Opera in the world of guitar. Thanks for sharing the talent.
Small correction; I kept reading on other videos that you are self taught and recently read you studied under great musicians. It must be noted that the talent needs to be present to reach such heights regardless of wether or not you are self taught as a teacher can only provide you the tools necessary to traverse the musical landscape at which point you indeed begging the process of self teaching.
You are the bloody Paganini of guitar man. The things you do on that thing are so reminiscent of the tales of what he used to do on the violin... incredible.

At 2200 hrs last night was the first time seeing and listening to this young man on his first AGT appearance and I've spent all night (almost) searching for and listening to this young man,he is imo?one of the most talented guitar musicians this planet has ever seen,his style portraits love, passion ,power,,well every emotion there is and I've not yet stopped looking/listening I can't get enough I've never had this experience ever in my life THANK YOU SO MUCH👃👃👃👃👃👃👃😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🤗🤗
His "Baba Yaga" composition is my absolute favorite! I can listen to it on repeat, it's so good.
I'd recommend you listen to his interview, from 3 years ago, while he was merely 18. Not only extremely skilled and humble person, but very focused and making his personal life dreams come true. I'll keep my fongers crossed for Marcin, he is really a special young man with a vision for himself.

Paganini set the bar for complex scores that were unplayable. He never saw you coming. You and David Garrett need to get together and just slay this piece --- my all time favorite Paganini. My 2 most favorite musicians. This would be my idea of heaven.

i’d definitely say that as far as influence and composition go, the closest thing to mozart we’ve got right now is someone like jacob collier, especially from the theory side of things. but that’s not to take away from how completely fucking ridiculous marcin is at the guitar, jesus christ.

To be honest: I see lots of parallels to Tommy Emmanuel, especially the world-class guitar playing + percussion thing. Same kind of "energy" in both persons. Everyone if you go back to when Marcin played classical guitar he was a very young kid and what’s regarded as a prodigy. He played just with normal style seated using a foot rest and a classical guitar. To master an instrument that young must have given him enough to want to spread his wings and follow the world of Alexandre Misko and others who have transformed this instrument to its full potential! Search for Misko you will see what I mean. New pioneers in guitar playing.

We all know he's an absolute genius, but maybe equally as important is how much he feels the emotion of the music he's playing. IMO that's what makes him next level

No, he’s just overacting. You can hear by how he plays that there’s no emotion at all.
Indeed, the passion and emotion that Marcin exudes through his playing is every bit as rare, probably more-so, than his technical mastery. He feels the spirit of these great classical pieces, and then puts it through his inner wizard amplifier and delivers it to us more powerfully than any musician I've ever witnessed. And sadly, lots of people are shut-down and don't see it.
