I'm a baker and I wear my Guilloche everyday. It is not difficult to put on or take off. I wash it with warm dishwashing liquid and it shines good as new. PEOPLE: Wear your jewelry and enjoy it!

There are Reviewers who own certain items and tell people not to buy them. Does not make sense why they do it.
There is a Reviewer who does nothing but complain- especially about the Lady Dior bag tell ms people not to buy them- owns at least 3 and recently bought a fourth!
There is something going on with these Reviewers
I honestly couldn’t finish this video. ALL of the cons seam to be uniquely specific to her. 18k fold is soft and it will all scratch unless you are comatose. Jewelry is made to be worn. I have many many luxury pieces every one has a scratch I wear them all the time and the oohs ahhs and questions about them have not diminished.

I understand you’re afraid of getting scratches on it but honestly, it’s fine. it gives it more character. My Cartier love bracelet has sooo many scratches on it but it looks better!
You can always polish that out. It’s not a big deal. If you are that concerned about scratches, then you can’t afford to wear it.
I wear my moms love bracelets and the scratches make the bracelets look better imo
I’ve had my Guilloche bracelet for a year and a half and I wear it every day. Honestly, I don’t see any cons to this gorgeous bracelet. The only time I take it off is to clean it and I have someone help me take it off and put it back on. I clean my bracelet with dawn soap and a baby toothbrush. My bracelet looks shiny and new just like the day I received it. No visible scratches either and I am a stay at home mom. I clean and cook everyday. To this day I am mesmerized by it 😊

Great video, Carol! That is a beautiful and dressier bracelet! Since I am not very careful with my bracelets, I chose the hammered rose gold instead. I don’t have to baby it. I love it so much. I also own the malachite bracelet. They are my favorite pieces.
I considered the hammered rose gold for the 6 motif sweet alhambra bracelet for a bit but I decided against it because of how hard these bracelets are to put on. But it seems like I could have VCA swap out the clasp for a bigger one so if that helps, I might have to revisit getting that bracelet 😆
This bracelet is stunning, this is my favorite alhambra bracelet with this gold color very shiny. I wanted to buy it but now I’m not sure anymore. Because if it is difficult to put it… I sold a Hermès necklace and a Fred bracelet because I couldn’t put it alone… thank you for this video !

Hi Carol! Great video - thanks for being candid about the challenges you’ve had with it! Have you heard about the bracelet buddy? It’s a tool that helps you hold one end while you clasp the other - it’s a complete game changer for putting on your bracelets!!
Yeah I’ve looked into that but I don’t think it would help for me because my issue with the bracelet is really the clasp. I’ll probably have to try replacing it with a bigger clasp to see if that helps.
I own the guilloche bracelet and MOP bracelet. Love them. I have extended the length to 2cm for guilloche and 2 inches for Mop because I love to wear both of them as a necklace . A lot easier for me to put it on and off. However, VCA Earrings are very difficult to put in for me. Great review! ❤️

Hi Carol! I too find myself only reaching for my Alhambra bracelet for special occasions. Like you say, it is so difficult to put on that I always have to ask for help and it is not a comfortable piece to wear in my opinion. That being said, it is such a timeless bracelet and your guilloche version is particularly stunning! Have a great day ❤

Hi Carol, I love my guilloché bracelet, for the clasp, you could request VCA to change the clasp for a bigger one and they will do it complimentary. I did that to both of my bracelets and it is a game changer 😉. Also, just my humble opinion, things are meant to be loved, wear your bracelet and make yourself happy looking at your piece every day. Last but not least, ask them to resize it differently, for me they took out more at the end so it looks symmetrical 😊
I don’t usually worry about getting scratches on any of my jewelry except this one strangely enough. Maybe it’s one of those things where I need to get one scratch on it before I loosen up 😅 And I say this after having dropped my phone earlier today and getting a bunch of scratches/chips on two of the corners. I managed to keep it free of scratches for 10 months too LOL
And when you say VCA took out more links at the end, do you mean the parts of the chain by the clasp? Because I asked if I could make changes to that part and they said no. I had suggested they take out 2 links between each motif and then just add 2 back by the clasp so it’s still 6 links removed in total and they refused.
@@CAROLCHANNELINGCHIC yes at the end by the clasp. Maybe because yours was six? Mine were four though, unfortunately that’s something they decide base on his that is going to affect the overall design.
Ahh I see. Maybe I’ll try asking someone else next time I’m at the boutique and see what they say.

Well, I have the 5 motifs bracelet in mother of pearl and I love it. It’s my precious, lol ! I wear it everyday but it IS a pain to put it on if you’re alone, that’s true.
Do you keep it on 24/7 or put it on and take it off daily?
@@CAROLCHANNELINGCHIC Oh no, I never sleep with my jewelry. I put it on in the morning and take it off in the evening, clean it with a soft cleaning cloth before putting it in my jewelry box.
Hi Carol! I too use to really struggle with putting on my Alhambra bracelets until it was suggested that I could change out the clasp to a bigger one. This has really helped me out quite a bit. There is no extra charge when purchasing and shortly after purchase ( I forget how long you have do it after the purchase). Great video! I wanted this exact piece but decided against when I was told I should not stack it because of how easily it scratches and that it can't be repaired
I believe the standard aside from earrings is 3 months. Unfortunately I’m past that already 😩 I don’t mind scratches on certain pieces of jewelry but this isn’t one of them so I’ll have to be extra careful 😆
Gosh I agree - the bracelet is soooo hard to put on. I swear there have been occasions where I just gave up putting it on after trying 10 times. Not happening that day!

The green color on the ring is a piece of oval shaped jade with two small round diamonds as accents on both sides of the jade. Unfortunately it was purchased from a local jeweler and I think it was the only one they had 😞

Happy early 20th birthday! 🥳 Honestly for me I eventually got a bit tired of my love bracelet but I still love my guilloche bracelet. Despite all the cons I even bought a second one. I think the guilloche bracelet is much prettier so if it’s purely in terms of looks I would say VCA is better. But the love cuff is more convenient and carefree to wear (although it would also get scratched). I think it comes down to how you intend on using it - if it’s an everyday piece then the cuff would make more sense but if it’s not something you’re going to wear all the time, I think the VCA will bring more enjoyment over time.

Are you pleased with your onyx one ? Do you wear it daily showering etc etc as I want something I don’t need to remove and I wear a lot of gold so prefer the onyx as it stands out

Hi!!! Can you please tell me the length of your bracelet end-to-end?? My wrist is 14.2cm and the perfect length for me is between 6.25 to 6.5 inches when I compare to one of my chain bracelets. That said, the motifs are thicker so I just want to know how to compensate prior to ordering a preloved, preshortned piece :)
Mine is just under 6.5 inches long and I got 6 links removed on it. I think that should be the size you go for also because our wrists are very similar sizes and the next size down on the bracelet would probably be too small.
My Pure Alhambra does not fasten that way. You might want to look into it, it's much easier. I have white gold, but it comes in yellow gold.

Your selections sound nice! I have the single row perlee bracelet in yellow gold, the 5 row perlee bracelet in white gold which I heard they no longer make, and the perlee clover bracelet in rose gold.

Negative? scratches is all about history. You complain to much I have 2 bracelets and I love, love it I don’t mind the scratches at all. It’s 18k and gold ofcourse it will scratches easily.
