The way Alex throws his kicks is so unique, he doesn't turn his hips at all, his foot is always pointing upwards on the side of the bag rather than the traditional roundhouse where you point your toes and land with the front of your shin.
Ive got no experience at all but do you reckon it has something to do with the shape of his foot? Check 14:00 min in, that high arch looks like it would suck to kick into something straight up.
@@baccycones2459 When you kick like this it's instantaneous. There is basically no setup and maximum balance and hard to defend coming up and under for ribs. The opposing fighter has little to no time to make a read.
