Also I haven't had an English speaking content for awhile, so here it is!

My life with the baby doesn't seem too busy and chaos yet... mostly because she sleeps tons. I will be busier during the day once I return to work 100%, but right now things are still pretty relaxing and I am enjoying my time with the baby!

Dogs can regress just like children do when there's a baby in the house. I know it sounds bizarre but involving the dog in activities helps just like you would with an older sibling. It helps them feel needed and helps with bonding. Your daughter is adorable. Thank you for making this in English. I wish the whole family well, those with 2 legs and 4.

Midori, it would be great if you made a video on maternity leave in Japan as well. It would be very informative for the people around the globe.

In Canada, you get 12 months (52 weeks) of paid maternity leave, but you can extend it up to 78 weeks (18 months).

2ヶ月で夜通し寝てくれるのはすごいですね👏 でもやはり一日中おむつ替えとミルクの繰り返しでお母さんの１日はあっという間だなと思いました。

私も息子を生後2ヶ月から預けて、仕事復帰をしました。私の周りには2ヶ月から預けてる人は一人もいなくて、たくさんたくさん迷いました！ただ、私のエリアもかなり競争率が高くて４ヶ月の時にようやく希望の園に入園しました。2ヶ月から四ヶ月までの間は一時預かり保育を毎回予約して保育園に行っていました。おかげで保育料は莫大な金額でしたが、、、。だが、母としても1人の働く女性としての気持ちもどちらもバランス良く過ごすことができて大変でしたが良い決断をしました。おかげで現在生後8ヶ月。人見知りは一切しない、明るくて誰にでもニコニコな息子に育ち知育面でもおもちゃの遊びがびっくりするほど高度だったり喃語をたくさん話したり良いことばかり。母は息子が生後5ヶ月の時に第二子も妊娠したので、保育園なしではつわりは耐え抜けず。離乳食も園との連携で、育児のプロに支えてもらいながら試行錯誤で進められています。たったの二ヶ月で、、、と私も思いましたし周りからは批判の目も。しかし、全て良い方向に向かっています！育児のプロに見守られながら、子育ても女性として社会と関わり続けられることも喜びを感じて私も進みたいと思います。
コメント有難うございます。このビデオでは、全然説明しきれてないのですが、保育園に早くから通わせることにした理由は、「仕事に早く復帰したい」というところだけではなくて、美和さんがおっしゃる通り「誰かと一緒に育てる、育児のプロと一緒に育てる」ということへの安心感を園に感じたこともありました。(特に私達が希望した園の方針がとても良くて、、） まだ通い出して数週間ですが、すでに喃語の種類が増えたり、コミュニケーションの種類が増えた気がしてます！また他の動画で日本の保育園については話したいな〜と思ってます＾＾

毎日保育士さんたちが見守ってくださり、まるで皆さん息子の第二の母のよう、、、。私もこの保育園に入園して欲しいと思ったのは、主人(パパですね笑)が32年前に同じ状況で息子と同じ園に就学前まで通って居ました。二世代でお世話になっており、当時とは先生は変わって居ますが方針は変わらず 五感を大事に！アクティブに！パワフルに！あったかい❤感じで、私も安心して居ます。主人も同じ園に息子を通わせたかったようで、当時のクラスメイトとの思い出が幼少期ながらにもあったようで忘れられないものとなっているみたいです。
最近息子は、ずり這いをし始めたのですが、保育士さんたち全員が喜びを分かち合ってくれ、、、、。次出来ることが増えるように上手に関わってくれたりと毎日感謝して居ます😊。みたるちゃんもきっと毎日温かい先生たちに見守られているからこそ、とても成長が早いんですね！とりあえず可愛らしさに魅了されて居ます！みたるファミリーのCZcams更新を毎回楽しみに、励みに私も毎日頑張りますね！
反面、風邪など貰いやすかったり
我が家も先月入院したりなど😢免疫を一つずつ獲得しながら大きくなって欲しいな思います！
保育園と幼稚園ではまた全然違ったり、インターナショナルなところもれば、公立、私立、私立でも母体が違うとぜーんぜん方針が異なりますよね！日本の保育園についての更新🆙楽しみにしてます！
Mitaru chan can sleep from 9PM to 6:30AM all by herself at 2 months old, that's so good !! I remember my kid was 6 months old before he could sleep that long. Thank you for making a video in English about your daily routines caring for Mitaru chan. We can check on her developmental milestones as she grows. (Laugh, can't help being a medical professional myself)
She started to go to bed even earlier.. but sometimes she wakes us up before 4am, and I even get excited to take care of her. haha

わたしは子どもと離れたくなくて1年はしっっかり育休を取ったため、その後も保育園は落ちて落ちてでしたが(笑)

I did try to make same night routine everyday at same time. ( like feeding, bathe, turn off the lights, extra ) but other than that, we did nothing really special!
I have a very honest question. Why do you leave 2 month old baby at a daycare when you spend the morning at home? This blows my mind because we in Brazil don’t usually do that.
She says it at 3:45…. daycare situations in Japan are really tough to get into, there’s a shortage of them.

やっぱ育児って大変だなとも思いました。
犬のおしっこは、床にしてしまったおしっこを拭いた紙を、トレイの中にしばらく置いて、床にしたおしっこの部分の匂いは、必ず残らないようにする事で、改善されて行くと思いますが、わたるさんはすでに、そういう対策はやっての粗相なのかも。
育児は大変ですが、今のところ可愛いなと成長を見届けられる嬉しさが勝っています💓ルパンのおしっこトレーニングは数年前に終わったはずなんですがね・・・おそらくヤキモチですw
