- 📍 Disfrutar in Barcelona
This is one of the most special restaurants that you'll ever experience. It's a temple of molecular gastronomy, a wild, crazy, weird experience, but one that is absolutely unforgettable. If you ever get the chance to go or are ever in Barcelona in search of some excitement, this is the fine dining meal to go to.
Less than €10,- per course is actually dirt cheap imo. Especially relative to how amazing they look (and probably taste).
But it’s like 1/10th of a normal dish
@@minheepark4896You don't eat these dishes to get a full belly. You get them for the taste, the experience, how they look and the ambiance of the restaurant.
You're buying an art experience with A LOT of work, experience, creativity etc. etc. poured in. That's what the price respresents. Not just the ingrediënts.
@@minheepark4896Tell that to the chefs who spent years mastering their crafts. You're paying for edible art here, not to fill your stomach.
@@minheepark4896 so what your saying is we get 3 whole dishes?
@@corruptedblitz yes. 3 whole pretty good size servings.
275 $ (253 €/216 £/41500 ¥) a person for a 3 Michelin star meal is actually quite reasonable
It's dirt cheap imo. I love every dish! If only I could afford the travel, lodging, and all the other necessities ...
Yes, of all the 3 star restaurants I’ve seen on this channel this is the one that feels most within reach.
That said it’s also separated by an ocean and god only knows what else (namely they probably take like 100 reservations a year or something)
That's 275€ equalling nearly $300 per person
I checked the website, you have to reserve like a year ahead
Sounds like El Bulli. The problem wasn’t the price. It was getting a reservation!
Just ate at aramburu on Argentina, 2 michellins that they won 1 month ago, and de full meal is 200usd, plus another 80 with wine pairing (worth because its unlimited refils)
Plus some whisky at the end, so it was 315usd plus tips.
250 for the 2nd best looks even cheap
Loved the video, very cool food looked amazing. I would love to see a longer video where you spend more time with each dish and show more of your reaction and describing the flavors. Thanks for your video!
I was actually completely shocked when you said the price. Even for the labor alone to create 30 dishes, regardless of how small, seems like it would be more $275 in total.
1:02 I appreciate the spoiler warning like I will ever be able to go there lmao 😅
Just got into your videos (and gastronomy in general) and I'm so glad to see your comeback !!
That's awesome, good for you :) If you're getting into gastronomy, we're also a Michelin based food channel... if you're looking to find more channels out there, to explore more and get even further inspiration for future food adventures :) All the best!
Yoo what 275$ for a 30 course meal? That's nothing
i've definitely had much worse food at a much higher cost before that's for sure
Been watching for a while but oh wow! I really like these videos! Showcasing restaurants and the unique way they prepare dishes, never afraid to be adventurous, has made me really want to travel the world just to try them. FEAR the shrimp!
This is a work of art and i absolutely love it.
Wish you went a little slower and cut into the foods so we could see textures. It looks wonderful!
This channel is underated as hell
honestly? i was expecting the price to be WAY more expensive, but it basically averages out to 11 euros per dish.
fantastic! Thank you SO MUCH!!!
Having that subscribe button popping up at the end. Nice.
What!! That experience is incredible.
i was here for the change from #2 to #1
thats CRAZY, hope i get to go there one day...
EDIT: im intrigued about the black apple dessert
pls spend more time telling us about the dishes(what they taste like) :) loved the video though
Disfrutar is top two on my wishlist
Wow. This is quite an experience
Now that is what you call an enlightened experience. Beautifully constructed and creative dishes, amazing elegance and quality, impressively enticing experience, and overall affordable for the masses so everyone gets luxury.
The idea that truly superb experiences are gated behind wealth shows the ignorance of our history. You don't need to be a millionaire to feel free and privileged(although, we're still quite a long way before every human and creature will get this love.. but it looks like we're getting there with more time).
Not too bad for $275 actually. Might actually consider going there if the price stays the same.
Im not sure if im interested in the food or in him. He's so sweet
👍🤩💝Thanks. I can’t wait to go.
you need to visit koks, its the most mind blowing thing i have ever experienced. its insane. but i can say that its super fun to get to the resturang. beacus you will be driving in a jeep around a smal lake. and i know you have ben to in Greenland. but its 1000x better in færøerne.
It's so cheap and delicious and healthy food i love it
i am going to barcelona in may and was hoping to go after seeing this video, but it seems that it's packed until january of next year, so maybe later then lol
There's a wait list maybe you're lucky
275 for a fine dining in number 2 in the world is a steal (for those who can afford it). Many places (like, a lot) is worst and more expensive. Here in new york fine dining can cost you 300 and left you hungry
So you come there not to fuel your belly, but to see magic tricks with food 😂🤣
So freaking cool!
I knew it! El Bulli trained chefs! Too bad El Bulli closed. Would've loved to go there. Where is Ferran Adria now?
Great video! Looking forward to seeing the next one! Let me know if you go to the Little In at Washington in Virginia (3 mil stars)
Magnificent video
I saw the short and looked for the video. Then I realised it was just released now!
i am glad u are here 🫶
How hard is it to get a reservation? Seems like a great experience.
Thank you for sharing but you convinced me more to go to Abac once again Grts
My entire bucket list is here
I'd be scared lol reminds me of that movie "the menu"
275??? thats cheap compared to the craziness of this!
That looks delicious I hope one day I’ll be able to go.
Love the video! You should try Next in chicago
it's definitely on my list! next time i'm in chicago i'm going 😤
@@ligiernice, it’s one of my favorite spots and it has a new menu every couple of months.
I might go here someday considering that this is a damn STEAL for that price. What do you recommend for first time though, classic menu or seasonal?
Wow just like the restaurant of "The Menu" without the horror part of course
Interesting that the chefs met while working at El Bulli. Makese sense
Booking now 🎫
come to masque!!! in India, it's right up your alley
I really want to try but its so expensive 😢 btw, keep the good work up ❤😊
i need to go
275!? Holy crap if I ever get the chance, I’m there
i wish food was real
You should go check out piazza duomo alba of chef Enrico crippa he's a mad genius
i have a video coming out on piazza duomo in a few weeks 👀
Looks like a restaurant for people who don't know what good eating is like.
Actually pretty cheap. I mean it’s no happy meal, but 30 courses for less than €10 is pretty astounding.
They got ants there? There’s one on the black apples
How did you manage to book a reservation?! It’s all booked to the entirety of the year 😢
Does not surprise me it’s in Spain!!
"Me, looking into the mirror at dinner." - I see they know their clientele.
What if you eat something that was just for the decoration and not meant for ingesting and then choke on it? 😢
9:11 Can't you guys believe that magic conjured two airplanes that hit towers that look identical to each other!
Getting the Menu vibes 😬😬
Let me suggest a gastronomy restaurant, it's call Namaaz Dining at Jakarta. U can check that restaurant, cause have lot of surprise in every single course
You should go to Central! The best Restaurant in the world. In Lima, Peru.
6:52 they did a little bit of trolling :)
is there a fine dining or gourmet restaurant that serves a meal with even near comparable amounts of calories and macros to the average healthy adult’s meal?
nice
Your first video on Disfrutar was unsatisfying to me. I was only able to catch brief glimpses of each dish, so I was happy to see the corn + foie gras was more visible here. I like watching you eat these petite gems, but I'm not seeing much of that in some of your videos. Tant pis.
man 275 isn’t bad at alllll
Go to Republica in Portland, OR
Go to Francis copala's winery
WHATS THE NAME
I'll drink that everyday and you will miss the real water
the El Bulli is said like "Al Bulyi". It's Catalan.
Can’t they make the food taste what it looks like?
... motherfu- I just came back from Barcelona
Did anyone else think he crumpled up and ate the newspaper at 0:07 ?
275 dollar is way more..14000 rs in india..way high charge
Go to jungsik in nyc
Does the tongue like looking item consist of a real tongue?
10 min gang
275 dollars for a 30 course menu is acutally cheap. I expected way more.
What is #1 in the world?
Ur short led me here..
You only live once, especially as a person from the projects in Chicago! so hunny idc about the price! I wanna see the world, and stamp the hell out of my passport, so sign me up!
So we jus out here eating toilet paper fr
him saying the name is so gross
lmfao
If only they would just serve the food rather than having to explain every single dish. Should be show, don't tell or in this case, taste, don't tell.
8:07 there's a fruit fly on the third bag
OH DAMN I JUST NOTICED THAT-
If he showed less of his face and more of the food, it would’ve been a great video. Description was good too…
1:45 , I am Out. Starting to remind me of being abducted by Extraterrestrials...
So for the #2 restaurant in the WORLD, I am shocked it costs under $300 per person! I thought it would be in the hundred thousands. Maybe they just want to make their unique food more accessible......or reservations have a million dollar fee just to get a seat
oMg ThIs Is DJUST LiKe ThE mEnU gUyS
jk, this was amazing. would be like a really cool interactive art show. I for one would totally go if I had the money to spend. seems like such an intruiging and playful experience.
Soon it’ll be $500 with inflation
What is the #1 restaurant now? Something of Gordon Ramsey?
Last I looked it's this place in Lima Peru that each dish is a micro ecosystem.
It was on "Chefs table"
If you look it up it'll say.
fly at 8:06 thank you
What an absolutely ridiculous "restaurant". We are all such suckers in this society.
I gotta go back
Me eating cheetos as I watch
And that’s all I have for dinner
u have all of these amazing dishes but not even describing the taste. and u move on too fast on each dishes.. unsatisfying
That's so cheap what the fuck? For a michelin 3 star?
