- Daniel Oberzaucher plays "Toccata" by Gaston Bélier on the great organ of the St. Leonhards church in Feldbach (Austria).
The organ was built by Mathis in the year of 2013 and has 46 stops. There are 3 special stops: Glockenspiel, Cymbelstern and Weingartmann. The "Weingartmann" are Wind Chimes. If you have a good Audio system you can clearly hear the 32' starting at 3:50.

This is one of the best playing and execution of this piece of music I have ever heard. I have heard many versions of this and I can say that the only difference between the composer and this player is that Gaston wrote it. What an increadable performance.

Magnificently played on a beatiful organ very similar to the Cavaillé-Coll played for 46 years by Gaston Bélier in St-Maclou's Church in Pontoise (France, Val-d'Oise). Thumbs up !

Hier spielt man es mit drei mechanisch gekoppelten Klavieren, viel schlimmer als das hier meine ich. Aber sehr nett und schön!

Je découvre aujourd'hui cette séquence CZcams, je la trouve superbe quel travail quelle technique bravo tu as du talent mais j'aimerais entendre cette pièce à Saint-Étienne de Caen sur notre magnifique Cavaillé-Coll aimerais-tu le jouer sur cette orgue fabuleux que le Cavaillé-Coll de l'abbaye aux Hommes de Caen, par rapport à ton talent et on travaille tu le mérites très beaucoup... bien cordialement en espérant une réponse bien à toi philippe dubois de la ville de Caen en Normandie où il y a ce fameux Cavaillé-Coll sublime ! Ganz toll, das hört sich sehr gut an! Feldbach ist also nicht nur Glockenmäßig gut ausgestattet, sondern auch was die "Königin der Instrumente" betrifft. ^^

Die Orgel is auch noch relativ neue, 2012 gebaut :)

I don't know how I came to miss this.
The organ looks as if it should be mechanical action, yet I don't see any keys moving for the couplers. Is the action partly electric, or did you not use any couplers?
And why no manual pistons?

It is nearly completely mecanical, in fact only the stops are also enriched by motors for the combination action.
I did use all the couplers, and it was, as you can imagine, a bit heavy to play. But it's ok if you take into account the great alone has a span between the windchests of about five meters.
There are manual pistons under the first manual. Unlike american organs, we come along with less pistons :)
And about the keys not moving: my guess is the keys are heavy enough on the inside to stay up on the outside.
I've seen many organs now which do that.
