This is the one Ernest film I keep going back to the most. At the end he says "I came, I saw, I got blowed up" the thing I don't hear anybody really talk about is I believe the real joke to that is after everything has happened and Nash is subdued, Ernest finally got the Nash impression down. Much like Reginald VelJohnson as the bumbling cop or William Atherton as the jerk bureaucrat this movie featured one of the greatest late 80s/early 90s typecasts in Randall Craig Cobb as the prison cell mate from Hell or as he’ll always be remembered from his first appearance in Fletch Lives “Ben Dover” 🤣

Out of every Earnest movie I have watched this one I have consistently deemed my favorite. I think it was my favorite because the movie did focus more on Earnest. Not some kid who may or may not have a crush on that girl, or punk kids needing a chance, it was mostly focused on Earnest. While the final confrontation had one or two dated special the fight was done amazingly well for the time.
