Hey kleric, i have done everything but i just can’t get a desync, is there a reason for that or is it just to keep trying?
Torbjörn Karlsson Im in the same boat. I’ve only used this newest method but I only got a de sync one time. If I use more bows is there a greater chance of desync or is it all the same once the menu overloads?
So I watched your last video and decided to try using the elemental rod to induce a desync and it works a lot more often. As long as I have a magic rod out, I can desync bows and shields a lot easier.
@@whocantexplain using elemental rods alongside it is a good idea; I still use them too from time to time.
But yeah, more multi shot bows would work too~

I'm not suprised. As soon as the game launched(got it on launch day) I knew it would be a game with a big community/modding/learning new things for years to come. 5-10 years from now I expect this game to still have a decent community.
Rieiid I have 250 hours in the game and I never even beat master mode, and on my normal file I never beat all the shrines, beat the trials, did all that, because I would just explore for hours. Even if I found nothing it was one of the most calm and fun gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time

@@emanuelflores5676 when I start farming in any of my save files (after slaughtering all 4 Devine beasts with a master sword, 30 hearts, full stamina, and infinite hylian sheild ), I throw my long throw weapons into the faces of other lynels to show that idc if you have a trash weapon, your gonna be fuckin dead in 2 seconds

@@emanuelflores5676 Perhaps instead of removing long throw, they could rework it into a “Throw↑” that would make the weapon throw farther, allow it to take normal durability damage upon hitting an enemy, and bounce back to you if it hits an enemy.

Haaaaaate to burst this bubble but... He has a health pool of 8000. Each blight defeated knocks out 1k, bringing it down to 4000. With 24 slots, and a 1 damage weapon with 80 durability, you're hitting 1920 damage. At 111 durability, you're hitting 2664 damage.
Before you go "What about damage up elixirs and stuff", it does nothing. A level 3 attack up buff gives a 50% damage buff for .5 damage. The game does round, but it rounds DOWN to the nearest whole number. So even a 1.5 damage weapon is still 1 damage. Huge thanks to DI/CPU-Z on GameFAQS for this info YEARS ago. Never thought it would come in handy. He bust his ass on reporting this game on there.

@@karanoelle4819 before bursting any bubble you could double check your numbers... tree branches have 2 base damage, not 1, so the buff would apply. Also the weapon slots are 20, not 24. It's also possible to obtain tree branches with an attack modifier, up to 4 base damage. So it's possible.

I never knew the Ancient Shield could do that! Honestly, that might be the most useful thing I took from this video and it's not even a glitch.
I love how Kleric has managed to create a little head cannon where Link is a patientless god that has power over time and matter. Capable of mass murder and phasing through walls.

The thing with the (fully upgraded) master swords is: It has 40 durability BUT with every hit not 1 durability is deducted, but only a part of it.
So if you transfer the durability of the spring loaded hammer on the mastersword, you can use it longer
You cant drop the sword tho, so you cant transfer durability
Just tested this, no it is not correct. The master sword breaks faster if you switch the durability

Also, when dealing with bows, it works consistently if you use the direction menu to equip the bow, then draw it, then desync in your inventory

I tried the method with the log, and got stuck because I couldn't equip anything at all. It'd show up in the menu, but not the overworld, and thus I couldn't throw it. What did I do wrong?
@@treddox5880 Too much overloading. You might take a couple of Meteor Rods off the ground to lower the overloading, so you can equip stuff again. Other than that, walking away a bit, or resting at the campfire again can alleviate some overloading.
is it okay that i used some of the durability on my hylian shield already? i wanna transfer it to a wooden lid but i’m sure i used some of the durability on it
@@omegawaffles7348 It's fine if you want to, but it won't be 799 durability if your Hylian Shield is used. It'll be -1 whatever your Hylian Shields remaining durability is.

05/06/2020 - transferred Durability of Hylian Shield to Ancient shield, then duplicated several times (using the easier Overloading method) - thanks for the detailed walkthrough of the process (and the updates)!
OMG, that Xenoblade joke at the beginning made me actually have to pause the video because I was laughing so hard!!! 😂😂😂 The combination of "Back Scratch!", *yells in Brit*, the XC1 music in the background, culminating in "I can feel the pow-AH!" was just too much and I broke into uncontrollable cackles before immediately going back and rewatching it only to have to pause again because I was giggling so hard. You have made my day with that over a year after your video was posted.

I'm gonna give it maybe a week or two before covering it in a short video; I don't want to cover it only for an even more optimized method to show it's face. :O
For now, the method steps are:
1. Get 6 Multi-shot bows (Duplex Bows can work) and any amount of shock arrows.
2. Equip one of your multi-shot bows, and shock arrows.
3. Press ZR to unsheathe the bow from your back, and then go into your inventory and drop it.
4. Do this with 5 of your 6 multi-shot bows, while the last one you can just hold in your hand, and you should be able to interchangeably overload the menu with sheathing / unsheathing your bow.
All other things covered in the video can assist with overloading if you need them.

Also, the master sword always has 40 durability. It just uses less durability to attack when its upgraded, meaning you can get a master sword with almost triple durability if you want.
ALSO ALSO, im pretty sure parrying with the ancient shield takes way more than 1 durability. My normal one would break after like 3 lasers.
Quick question on the overloading by Meteor Rod. Does it need to be *exactly* 25 or can I go higher?
You can go higher, but I imagine that might be a bit overboard. :0
Was it the ancient shield you get from the Akkala Tech Lab?
I tested it to be sure before stating that. I used one bomb to blow up my Ancient Shield to put it at 2 durability left, which I did get the "Your Ancient Shield is badly damaged" message, (It's base durability is 32), and it reflected two lasers before it broke.

It's neat that certain weapons have reduced durability loss when used on certain objects, and then the upgraded Master Sword comes along and applies that mechanic to everything.

While impractical due to low damage, that first glitch is awesome! Might use it for certain applications from now on.

I love how the master mode triforce maches up with the kleric logo.
I have noticed that the Guardians in the shrines will gradually inch off of the electrical trap. I find it helpful to set another conductor slightly in front of the electrical trap where it's also conducting electricity so that when the guardian moves off of the first conductor it is still getting shocked by the second one. For the great flameblade I also like to sneak into the back of the castle near the docks. I throw a bomb at the lizalfo and get the blade for free.

For secret animation, overload the game with the master sword equipped, switch to another weapon, close you inventory, open your inventory, and drop the weapon.
