Do you even stop to think that countries need to approve the sale of modern weapons before you can buy them? America can't approve the sale of F-16, F-18, etc. to any sub-Saharan country. Tell me any country in Africa who have a modern 5-6th generation Jet fighter. You won't find any. The only country with a modern jet in Africa is Egypt, and they got it because America wants them to make peace with Israel & the Middle East.

That depends. At surface level, even Indian Air Fleet seems to be the same. Until you realize that India carries out most of the MRO within the country and that most of the spares for its aircraft are sourced from within the country. Not to mention the standardization of weapons and some avionics like data link and IFF across the fleet, irrespective of aircraft origin.
All this means it is nowhere near a nightmare situation in logistics. If Nigeria follows the same system, then it'd be possible even for them to maintain such a diverse air fleet without breaking a sweat.
