Last time these two teamed up for a live session at The Windmill was utterly mesmerising. ( • Saul Adamczewski live ... )
This time was equally so, and gave a welcome first airing of songs from Saul's unreleased solo album Adventures in Limbo as well as some classics from the Insecure Men and Fat White Family catalogues. The minimalistic and poignant set kept the audience spellbound and silent for 45 minutes.
So happy to see/hear Saul find some peace in fatherhood. Thanks for sharing Lou

Song is called I Miss Living Without You. No lyrics available. You might be able to work out the tuning from the end of the first song where he retunes for it. Good luck!

No idea about release of AIL. It's a thing of beauty, and as I understand is now free of the shackles that were locking it away. Not sure which other record you mean. There is another insecure men album recorded on fat possum I believe that may or may not get a release. All will be revealed in due course. In the meantime we have this, and hopefully some more live performances to cherish.
@@LouSmith Cheers! sounds very exciting. The other one i'm thinking of is called Karaoke Part 2 (The European Cannon Is Here), maybe that's the one. This gig must have been great, the flute and sax really just takes it to another level. Could listen to this all day!
@@andrewnichol6630 Yes, I hear the 'I could listen to this all day' a lot in relation to this performance. The entire room was spellbound and silent for the entire time, which is pretty rare these days. Dunno what happened to the Karaoke album. I thought it was on sale at one point. The other Insecure Men is not that one. More similar in a way to some of the songs here.
Shame saul didn't make a album of these songs or play them more often
These songs are all recorded on various albums. I hope we will see more of them in the future.

Goodbye Goebbels. It’s on songs for our mothers. One of my absolute favourites of theirs. Written by Lias I think. There’s some great versions of it on this channel.
