  • All credits for the backingtracks go to "produce like a pro". Have a look at their video about the Trooper. They are all doing a amazing job, but i wanted to get one more step closer to the sound of Steve Harris.
    No compression on the basstrack added ofter recording. Also no compression on the master-bus.

      @sheikyerbouti3082 I wouldn't spend 1.4k on the white one. The blue I'd be interested in for hopefully lower but they don't make it anymore. The white one is over 10 pounds man.

      Hi on most albums he used the custom made Hiwatt-clone. A tube Amp. But not on piece of mind.

    Most players miss the staccato. I used to own the Peavy Mk III and I never got it to sound anything like Harris's tone LOL

    This is interesting! I just discovered your channel and subscribed. Just saying, but it would be fantastic if you can show how this could be, more or less, approached using plugins in a DAW, will help people like me who doesn't have the gear but want to simulate the sound.

    hello. can u tell me how u deal with clank? steve clank is very different than mine. mine is loud and steves clank is barely noticeable by sound but u can hear it a little

    • @sheikyerbouti3082
      @sheikyerbouti3082  Před 9 dny

      Hi do you mean the clank in generall? Because there is nearly no clank on piece of mind. On later albums he had a huge amount of clank, but there he used another amp, where he cranked the highs with the eq and also used the aphex exciter. You can see the EQ settings in the rig-down-video of the last tour.

    and he keeps his right arm elbow as straight as possible, which increases finger speed because he doesn't have to bend his fingers. The guitar should remain below waist level as much as possible.
