Thanks for sharing. Great step-by-step instruction. It costed about $350 to get my station wagon done 5 years ago ... both motors were dead. This time, I am going to follow your instruction.

Guys you Might try a repair first. I found it was easy to dismantle the old motor by using a heat gun to take it apart. Once I got it all apart I needed to free the stator from the permanent magnets and used wd40, sand paper and cleaned the copper contacts. Put it back together worked fine.

Thanks for uploading. Applied the automatic transmission flush technique from your other video. Worked just fine. But recently I had to deal with corrosion damage on rear wheel arches of a 2007 W211 E200 Kompressor. If possible, never buy a used car from an area where they salt the roads.

while in the windshield Dept... check the nut that ties down the wiper arm(s) to the mechanisms shaft. Benz likes to under-torque it without locktite, so it gets loose prematurely (one or both wipers skip-skip-jump + noisy)
    Another easy TIP:
the cabin *blower* sleeve bearings needs to be lubed (shaft gets tighter) and cabin *filter* needs replacement at least every 5 to 6 years... else AC performance is seriously reduced by lack of air circulation and blower can burn fuse and regulator. This job is easy.
    BATT Power TIP:
Call the "Workshop Menu" before starting the engine to display the main battery charge voltage while driving.
Monitor how well the regulator works or software bugs stress the whole car electric circuit.
Above 12.6V it is charging, below its draining! (lead-acid gel AGM)
Most newer motor cars have "regenerative dynamic charging" that can dangerously drain below 11.8V while cruising at Hwy speeds... then go right back to charging the battery under 90Amps. ("Headlights:ON" forces charge above 13.5V).
The hidden Workshop Menu will give you visibility to predict main AGM battery failure 😂 (see other YT vids to learn how to call this menu with the steering wheel key combination)
    enjoy 👍🏻

GLAD YOU ARE MAKING VIDEOS AGAIN!!!!! HAVE YOUR INJECTORS EVER BEEN PULLED AND RESEATED WITH NEW BRASS WASHERS? IF NOT, THEY ARE WAY OVER DUE. YOU HAVE SOME LEAK BY AND LOSS OF POWER AND MAYBE EVEN A START OF SEEPAGE AND BLACK DEATH AT THAT MILEAGE. TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC VANITY COVER AND LOOK VERY CLOSELY AROUND BASE OF INJECTORS. IF NOTHING ELSE, THEY NEED TO BE PULLED, RE LUBED, AND RESEATED WITH NEW BRASS.

$300 at an Indy shop. I’m guessing they will charge at minimum 2 hr labor. How are the rear wheel bearings? Would love to see a video on that. Keep up the great work!

Mine is just leaking. The pump is still working fine. I was wondering if I could just replace the grommet rather than replacing the pump. Thanks

You can also use a RTV to seal the leak
