CR10 V2 fix clogged nozzle and hot end jams causing printing issues + some great tips

  • Cleaning just the nozzle doesn't always fix an extrusion issue. After cleaning my nozzle several times to no avail I dug deeper and fixed my issue.

    Honestly, best video I've found for this issue. Found a blob about the length of my nozzle jammed between my tube and the nozzle.

    If you cut the threads at right angles with a junior hacksaw it will cut the plastic from the threads

    did you ever have a problem taking off your nozzle? mine's so tight i can't clean out the clog. I've tried every other open with the pull and everything to try to grab any extra filament around, but it still fails and doesn't extrude anymore after the first layer goes down. The only thing left to do is to take off the nozzle, but I really can't. 😢

      Yes I struggled too, mine was tight! After I got it loose it was alot easier to take off again - i think from the factory it came super tight.. i cant remember if there was a 2nd nut to counter hold it with. Good luck!
