Reno High 1976..Friday and Saturday cruising Virginia Street, nothing beat that...Left Reno in 89, go back every year and the place is a dump more and more each year.

Fantastic video! Reno was so exciting back when there were all these small casinos on the street. So nice to see this video!

I love seeing the old Harold's Club lit up at night! It's a shame it's no longer with us.

Wait the nugget was in Reno first? Didn't know that

There used to be two: The Nugget, and John Asquaga's Nugget in Sparks (although it had another name before that, too.) There were also other nuggets in Carson City (Carson Nugget) and Vegas (Golden Nugget), plus probably some others.

I remember the Nugget in Lake Tahoe in the 80s featuring $3.95 steaks, and the machines were soo much looser than they are nowadays. You could play for hours on their old style cherry $1 machines with $300. Jackpots were $600 for 3 cherrys and you could hit 2 in one night sometimes. Good times.
