- Tabs and score for the 1st part is available here: shop.per-olovkindgren.com/pro... Dear Friends and Followers... (please click more... below) today I'm posting a video that I recorded in 2012 so if you think I look younger, it's not a secret elixir or potion I got from Harry Potter. It's simply an old video I never posted before.
The first part Entering in Silence I used to open my concerts with; to let the audience's ears adapt to the subtle, quiet sound from my guitar and also to the silence in the room. Note: my students find it extremely difficult to play! which proves that simple, is not always easy and less is more.
The second, at 2:03, is a simple melody that teaches to play a clear melody and accompany it well. (I never played it at a concert though and sorry, it's actually in E-Minor... Ups)!
I hope you will enjoy the simplicity in this music.

Per-Olov, you and your music are and will remain ageless......at least for me ❤🙌
Aweeee… thank you dear Carmelia! ;-)
Really love both of them. Your compositions and playing are sublime. I totally agree that simplicity is not always easy and less is more. Really appreciated. Thank you so much for sharing beautiful music. Stay healthy, sir 🙏😍❤
Thank you so much Veda.
❤Beautiful ✨🎶🎸🙏🤗
Thanks for listening
Healing my soul ...with your beautiful music...
Thank a lot!
@Per-Olovkindgren
Greetings! I the one who thanks you for your kindness your time and your amazing work!
Hope you are having a peaceful day Sir Per-Olov.
Que melodia maravilhosa prezado Per-Olov, já estava com saudades!
Obrigado Lawton!
Wonderful rendition and like it
Thankyou Per-Olov, No such different, looked so young too
Many thanks! ;-)
I'm Korean, and when I went to a famous Italian restaurant, there was a sign that said, 'Simple is the most difficult.' This phrase came to mind when I heard you play. You have accomplished this difficult task. And, while I love your playing, I also love your witty and sincere writing. thank you!
Thank you so much for your comment! Appreciated.
This astonishing and breathtaking Per- Olov. You are a genius and a pearl!😊
Thank you and I enjoy your videos always. A weekly gem for me.
Everything is said already about the thiefs and parasites of your music and music copyrights. I agree and support you completely. But I wonder what is copyright worth when it cannot be sanctioned? I hope it could be solved. I think, if nobody buys from those pirate criminals, out of respect, we are a step further. But, I expect such will not happen🙄. This is the modernism nowadays. I am going to listen and enjoy your performances again.🎼😊👍
Dear Jos, thank you for your support and words. Yes it is sad this stealing of my name and creativity… alas that’s how it is.
Per-Olov
@@Per-Olovkindgren yes, I understand your frustration and decision. I hope it does not influence your motivation, inspiration and music.
최고입니다~🎶👍good~
Dear Per-Olov !
I can understand, that your students find the piece difficult to play.
If you want the listener to hear the silence between the tones, then as a performer you should be in that state too.
And it really is easier to play a lot of notes, than very few. But you managed to enter in silence wonderfully and you took me with you as a listener. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I enjoyed both pieces a lot. The simplicity can be so beautiful.
Thank you for this.
Warm regards....Wolfgang
Thank you dear Wolfgang! I am glad you agree that playing many (too many) notes isn’t as difficult as playing few very well.
Thank you for your kind comment.
Be safe and have a great week.
Per-Olov
My days would always be wonderful if I were woken up with these few beautiful notes full of serenity and depth. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Thank you so very much!
wonderful my friend thanks for sharing and have a peaceful Sunday!
Thank you! You too!
impressive performance like always 💖
Good morning ,
Good video! Thank you for this superb sharing, it is a very beautiful performance full of charm and full of emotions.
Congratulations and a big like! Good day. Danielle
Good morning Danielle. Thank you for your kind words.
Per-Olov
Within what seems to be simple you lay a lot of verity and beauty, so actually, it is not simple, but everlasting. However, I would like to try to play it because it' s not too long and I am glad to see that you have started again with publishing your notes on your website! I will soon have a look at it and perhaps order them a.s.a.p. Merci, thanks, danke, tak! ❤♬♫ You have enlightened my Sunday! Musical greetings, Eva
Oh, it has been an error....Then some time, perhaps next year...Meanwhile, I will hear your wonderful and calming pieces again and keep on enjoying them. Thank you again, Per-Olov!
Thank you Eva. Yes, it is not possible for me to open my site yet. You will have to wait a little…
Until then, please listen to me.
Hugs,
Per-Olov
Beautiful and sensitive studies!❤️
Thank you!
I love it ❤❤❤ Thank you, Per-Olov 😍🥰
I'm glad you like it
Gracias Maestro. Nos quedamos deudores de tanta Belleza regalada .
Muchas gracias!
I always try to sing the notes while listening your playing. It’s a wonderful moment for me.❤
Love that! Thanks for doing that Linda.
These are beautiful!! Simple tunes with room to think and feel them! Thanks for the music!
Glad you like them!
Masterclass, classical acoustic musician. Very touching and poignant.
Thank you.
Very nice. The second piece especially draws me in. I hope to learn to play it someday. Thank you.
So beautiful❤
Thank you! 😊
Fantastic ❤❤❤❤
Many many thanks
Beautiful. I really love the melancholy in the second piece.
Thank you very much!
Dear Per-Olov!
The first composition was SO capturing. And! Now the professor itself has said it…the playing of one melody…..IS SO HARD! Or…I mean…it aint hard for you 😎…but that your students say so… and I can TOTALLY agree with them. SO HARD! But….you kind of made me wanna try that composition now… 😅
And what a beatifull way to start concerts with that piece…clever I would say 😊
And the second one…beatifull too 😊 when the video started…I was like…”heeeeei..Per-Olov has a new shirt..heeeei..but he looks somehow different” …
And then I read the infobox wich gave me answeres 😅
Thank you Per-Olov of these pretty pieces, it was a pleasure to listen… and…now…again 😊
Hugs!
~Matleena~
Thank you dear Matleena for your always funny and kind comments!
Have a great day!

Heavenly
Thank you so much.
Very beautiful etudes and very beautifully played. Love it! 🥰
Thank you so much 😀
Wonderful and beautifully played.
Glad you enjoyed it Ulrike!
Precioso! Cada nota tocada con amor nos llena el alma!! Gracias!!
Muchas gracias!!
Thanks you 🌹☕
Thank you too
Dear friend,
2 studies call for 2 comments :)
But in introduction, without flattery, apart from the white hair, you haven't changed that much in the 11 years apart.
The elixir is naturally within you
Musically, it's beautiful!
How to better prepare an audience to invite them to silent listening!!,
“Entering the Silence” has such a powerful resonance.
I like detached notes that call for the following and fascinate the audience. A pure marvel and I understand the difficulty mentioned by your students. This exercise requires mastery in interpretation, otherwise the result could seem bland.
The study in G Minor corrected :) should not remain at the bottom of a drawer. How many nuggets like this one still slumber like this?
Both studies are just so soft, quiet and call for serenity. Thank you Per-Olov for filling the ears of your friends and followers today.
Listen, there is no more noise … only you, us and your music
Love
Michel
Thank you dear Michael. As always your comments gives me joy and pleasure.
Thank you sooooo much!
Hugs,
Per-Olov
Dear Per-Olov,
I listen and enjoy every note.
The (superficially) simple guitar pieces are so difficult to play.
I think these are two valuable studies for "Tonbildung".
Liebe Grüße,
Günter
Thank you! How true, how true! :-)
All the best.
Per-Olov
I was thrilled when this video appeared in my feed. It was like seen again an old friend. So happy you are still recording and sharing your talent with us. You are an inspiration
Welcome back! And thanks for commenting!
Per-Olov
Dear Per-Olov Kindgren, I've just read what computer criminals have done with your own compositions, which can only be despised! So it is understandable that you close your online shop. But it is very sad because many of your compositions invite myself to try and play especially when the winter comes. It's a consolation that I will be able to listen to you on youtube. Kindest regards!
Thank you very much Helmut. I appreciate your kind words and support.
I hope I can re-open in January so please keep your bookmark. ;-)
Per-Olov
@@Per-Olovkindgren I will of course
I hope too ! 🙏🏻
Thanks for sharing Peo ! Beautiful Music, I love the sound of that Jean Mairet guitar, it made me remeber all the memories of your first videos 😊
Thanks Lalo. Do you still have yours? I miss mine but it was not powerful enough for live concerts… ;-(
Dear Per-Olov!
Very beautiful! After the first notes I had to close my eyes immediately..started to breathe..entered inner rooms..felt relaxed and clear.
Then I had to start the video again in order to see you in your younger years 😉🤗
And I love the sound of your Philippe-Jean Mairet.
Have a nice Sunday!
Hugs,
Marianne
Thank you too dear Marianne. I am happy you’re listening to me and for your kind comments. Always appreciated.
Hugs back,

Great Music and impressive playing as always... and I also love to see a Beatles book in the background...❤🩹💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙
Thanks so much!
These are beautiful, Per-Olov. Really lovely studies. Played with great musicianship!
Glad you like them Greg! As a composer you probably know that sometimes _"less is more"._ :-)
@@Per-Olovkindgren You're so right! I need to try harder with the "less is more" approach. Often I'm guilty of making my compositions too busy, I think. Here's one where perhaps I come close to the "less is more" philosophy: czcams.com/video/kfbYavDdvhA/video.html
Another excellent song as well as a magnificent and exciting interpretation, I liked it a lot, congratulations from Madrid and see you soon, like 212
Thank you very much! And thanks for the like.
Saludos desde Copenhague.
I totally agree to what you wrote! Less is more! And to handle the silence is so important to, as you do here! Sweet! The first piece is very captivating if you ask me. Appreciates the second to but fell for the first :-) I can imagine that the effect of letting the audienc getting to know the silence is good.
Tack för kloka tankar!
Gillar din hållning och tanke kring att försöka få ut så mycket som möjligt av varje stycke oavsett om det är lätt, kort osv... Först då skapas intressant musik och då om vi är medvetna om vad vi gör och varför :-)
Stort tack!
//Tobias
Thank you Tobias. I know we share the same opinion on this. :-)
And thank you for listening to me.
Per-Olov
Very nice Maestro!
Congratulations from Minas Gerais Brasil
Obrigado meu ami!
Greetings from Copenhagen, Denmark. :-)
Peo
Beautiful!!
I used to crave being able to play big concert pieces , when I finally tasted some of them i quickly realised just how difficult they were and so far above me , this was massively disappointing , now though I really enjoy the intermediate pieces , ones that are beautiful and can play them well with practice, your music is perfect!!
Wonderful! Thank you! It is more important (and rewarding) to play easier pieces well than difficult pieces bad! Less is more. I have a feeling especially guitarists measure music in difficulty instead of quality and emotions. Music is an art, not a competition. :-)
Two very interesting and suggestive studies for guitar. The first piece is perfect to start a concert and to empathize with the audience.
I really appreciate your instrumental playing that you did in 2012.
Wishing you all the best :-)
Antonio
Glad you enjoyed it Antonio!

Per-Olov
kram,
Per-Olov
Vackert & lugnande ❤
Tack!
maserpiece of our's heart
Thanks a lot!
Dear Per-Olov, this video made my morning break😍 Long time ago I was addicted to playing the first study. I think it made me realise that listening to your own playing is just as important as playing the right note at the right time and the right length. I love the little pearl of guitar music. Thanks for the inspiration to play it again!
Also the second one is very lovely to listen to. Very well composed, dear Maestro!
Did I ever say Thank You For The Music? 🤔😁
Love from Weserbergland - Sabine
Vielen Dank lieber Sabine! I think I played this at the concert you organized.
I hope yu are having a great time in Weserbergland.
Love,
Per-Olov
@@Per-Olovkindgren Now that you mention it, I remember. Great memories... it was the only time in my life that I threw petals at a musician after a concert. 😄pm follows these days
Dear Mr. Per- Olov Kindgren,
however i love your music, simple but so beautiful!
the first One is very meditate and the Second Piece likes as a Lullaby .
i would play them.
Minh
Thanks a lot.

My dear friend Peo! I LOVE enjoy the simplicity in this music!! That's my cup of tea! Relaxing, peaceful and full of emotions. Wonderful work of yours. I wish a nice sunday and send my hugs from Hamburg! Love & peace, Jimmy
Thank you my friend! Have a great Sunday you too
peace and love.

Muchas gracias Emilio. Yes, I was with a Venezuelan woman at that time. In Miami though... :-) I am happy you are still listening to me.
Saludos desde Dinamarca.
Per-Olov
@@Per-Olovkindgren Thank you friend. Thank you for so many years of good music, delicious creativity and pleasant company.
If I'm honest, I'll tell you that I was very excited about that love you experienced with a Spanish-speaking woman. Also for other circumstances in my life. It was something special to feel your illusion and how it moved you to create music. In those same times I created poetry for the same reason. And although time has passed and the circumstances of those years have passed, I am still creating poetry, although not with the same talent that you have to create and interpret music.
A big hug. Thank you!!!
Y saludos desde España!!!
Dear Per-Olov, simply great and touching. Where can I find the sheet music of both pieces? Thanks in advance, and greetings from Bert
Dear Bert. Thank you for your kind words. Normally you would find the sheet music at my site shop.per-olovkindgren.com but as you can read there, I have closed my shop temporarily until January 2024. I hope you will book mark my site and return then.
Kindly,
Per-Olov
@@Per-Olovkindgren Thanks, and all the very best
music is beautiful does the second melody is for sale on the website? I cant really find it
Thank you.
No, I’m sorry but I closed my website until 2024.
Can I buy this on 01/01 /24 ??😂😂
I love both these pieces ,they work as a duo too don’t they ?
Straight from one to the other
Thanks Alan. Yes, these will be available during January. Probably not the first week though as I will be traveling then...
oh... and, yes, they can be played together, after each other. A _duo_ is when they are played at the same time... that's not a good idea. :-)
@@Per-Olovkindgren ha ha thanks , I meant a “pair “ I guess 😊
Dear Per-Olov, I like to purchase these studies. But I cannot find these on your website. Could you help me? Thanks, Jos
Hi Jos,
You can find Entering in Silence here: shop.per-olovkindgren.com/?s=entering+in+silence&post_type=product
and then please contact me in an email so I can help you with the Study in G... :-)
Per-Olov
Dear Olov Kindgren,
so nice! ❤❤❤ i would like these two Pieces.
Minh
Please do the same as I asked Jos to do.
Dear Per-Olov!
Maybe the problem is with me, but I don't see you getting old even in your current videos.... this is starting to get suspicious.....Should I believe in Harry Potter?😀
I'm very sorry that I didn't start learning the first notes from your notebook. (Do you remember the ones you sent me as a gift not long ago.)
But unfortunately when I started studying, I don't know if you wrote such booklets for complete beginners and students.🥹
I would have been happy to play them, as these pieces are also beautiful.
And I agree that sometimes less is more!
p.s. Will you share Harry's contact information with me for the elixir?🪄🧙♀ Time can be seen on me!!! 😀
Take care and be safe!
Hugs Gardalino
Heeey!!! I want that elixir toooo!
Can you send me some Gardalino? If you get that?
@@feelingsviawood Hi Matleena!
When I get it, I promise to share it with you. But I don't think you need it. You are forever young unlike me!😊
P.S.. Honestly, I'd be happier with Hermione's number.😉
Have a nice sunday! Hugs Gardalino
I have her number too. But I’ll keep it to myself.Sorry.
Thank you my friend. Well, I was at a reunion yesterday with some colleagues that I haven’t seen in 18 years. Only I still looked as I did back then. (Do you get a black tongue if you lie?)
Harry Potters number is 112. Try it! :-)

Man! I'm emotionally drained by the first piece!! I'm definitely going to open with this at my January concert. I love the second piece too, which I heard some classic "Kindgren" characteristics. But I'm leaning more towards the first one. Wonderful music!!
Thanks Scott! I also prefer the _Entering in Silence_ piece. Glad you liked it!
