WWE 2K24: New 64-Bit Characters, Latest DLC Previews, New Weapon, Plus WWE 2K25 Latest!

- Join us for the latest round-up of wrestling game news including all the latest previews for the WWE 2K24 Post Malone and Friends DLC Pack which is set to release on June 26th.
New DLC previews include full entrance videos for The Honky Tonk Man with Jimmy Hart and Post Malone, a full set of ratings, and a new DLC trailer revealing the models of Sensational Sherri Martel and The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher).
The DLC trailer also reveals the inclusion of a new weapon, as players can use Jimmy Hart's megaphone!
Also featured in this video we have the announcement of new 64-bit character models that are being added to the game as Persona cards in MyFaction, with these characters modelled like the characters seen in Nintendo 64 games like WWF No Mercy.
64-bit chaarcters currently announced include Asuka, Bianca Belair, Roman Reigns & Xavier Woods.
The new characters are set to be added to the game in next week's patch 1.10 update, and will then be available in special DeMastered Card Packs within MyFaction.
Lastly, we also have a small update on WWE 2K25, as Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com recently spoke to TNA's Jordynne Grace, who revealed she has been doing mocap for MyRise.

I just hope they make a myfaction DLC where you can but all of the persona cards without playing.

People can say that this DLC is “pointless” or whatever. Meanwhile… the one coming out on July 24th is the one that should be getting that description. At least this pack has 4/6 wrestlers. Yes, even Sherri herself because she started out as a wrestler.
Should it ? Besides pat and his friend's we don't even know what's all that coming in that pack. Could be all types of weapons and etc. I say judge it after we know all that's coming from it entirely rather than just who's in it.
Well, I actually like this pack.
Plus, there will probably be new moves and stuff added with the pack.

Honestly, being able to hear Jimmy Hart during the intro is pretty cool. Hopefully he'll be using the megaphone to ramble during matches if you choose him as a manager.

I could see a sorta TNA themed pre-order bonus pack thing. Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, and maaaaybe the Hardy Boys. Unlikely but maybe throw in a TNA belt or 2 and possibly even an arena while you're at it.
Is there a way to get custom weapons backstage? I edited the weapon wheel in custom match creator, but it didn't work. Love the game but this one thing is pissing me off. My son wants to use guitars and slim jims backstage lol

The 8-Bit Persona cards look cool but I'm not grinding for hours or paying an exorbitant amount of money for just them 8-bit looks. I wish they would just add it into the game as an update

Did you know if you do Roman vs Sami in the Elimination Chamber arena for a title (Roman being the champion), Roman will be the one to have the first entrance just like how it was in real life in 2023. (Champions' entrance is always the second one)

Why wouldn’t those wrestlers do their own motion capture? I never understood that.
It could be that the original wrestlers was too busy. Also it could be that the "replacement" wrestlers was wounded at the time, not fit too wrestle but good enough to do motion capture for others.

Speaking of "retro" I'm hoping there is a Retro Randy Orton, but what would be even more worthwhile is they brought back his Running One-Handed RKO... I actually like the ROKs they have now, but Orton was doing the RKO differently early on.
Plus, if they have a Retro Orton, how do they NOT have Retro Batista? I hate when they have one thing and not the other, hate when they hit and miss like that, but I see absolutely no reason why both shouldn't be included... Their Persona Cards should definitely be based on the time they both departed from Evolution and went solo.

Probably super outdated. Take WWE 2K22 for example: despite having brought the franchise back to its enjoyable roots, it was actually nothing more than a postponed WWE 2K21(which was renamed 2K22) since its roster and arenas represented 2021 and not 2022.
