Really enjoyed this talk. The key piece here really is keeping your audience feeling like they are on the same emotional plane as you. If you aren’t connecting with them, instilling a sense of teamwork and curiosity to solve a complicated problem together, they won’t enter the arena with you. Then it’s just a matter of identifying the underlying reasons for holding the attitudes that they do. Basically, figure out which cat food they like and slide them down the ice!
