I love it. I know we don’t have the deck list yet, but I love what they’re doing already. I have a buddy that has played a few rounds with my Blitz decks but wasn’t ready to buy into the game, but as soon as he saw the Prof’s video he knew this was his entry point. Commander Masters had WotC ripping people off for $100 on mediocre Commander decks with terrible lands, but LSS is asking $70 for 4 decks, a playmat, and a storage box that’s actually useful. A new player gets to experience 4 different classes, have a full set of decks to jam multiplayer with, and an upgrade path for some of those decks to enter events with. Great stuff

The new ninja stuff also looks cool, but they don't hold a candle to everything related to Melody. ❤️
I propose that anytime there's more than one Melody sitting down together for a game, there needs to be a real life singing competition to decide who is the true bard before starting.
Been playing loads of bg3 and just started another play through as a bard. Melody seems like the perfect vibe to go for
Super hyped for this. UPF isn't really my thing, but I've got high hopes for PvE. I've got a small stockpile of merchant stuff waiting to go, but after seeing Melody I might have to pick up a fiddle instead.
Melody is my favorite looking hero from this set for sure.

I like the balancing. Some heroes seem stonger early, while others ramp.
This is a no brainer must have. I am so grabbing this when it comes out to play as the guardian. Love the bard as well but I am a guardian player. Blocking all day long.

Prof is so honest, and I absolutely can’t imagine he’d do an “is it worth it” on this product if he was contractually obligated to say things he didn’t believe.
Speaking of Brian’s character, it’s so cool to see his fingerprints all over this teaser. Cards that help your opponents’ decks do their things while also incentivizing you to play them with a small but significant gameplay advantage? That’s how he loves to play EDH. 160 cards making up four decks plus a deck case and playmat for $70? That’s prof’s love of good value. And I can only imagine he hammered the table on accessibility as well - there’s nothing he dislikes as much as manufactured scarcity of game pieces.
Responding to your critical flaw: I agree I wonder if it might be a fun idea to double or triple 1 hero's health (probably Prof or Ira) and just play it arch enemy style

On one hand, my excitement for this set is just a decibel below my excitement for Bright Lights. On the other hand, I'm sad Bard got actual support before Merchant and shapeshifter. Happy we have a bard, just sad merchants and shapeshifters still only have one card... each. 😅 excluding promos that is.

Damn, I love these decks, especially the bard, since I am a musician as well. But my LGS doesn't support FaB, just MtG, which makes me so sad right now. Is there a way to buy these online?

At first I didn´t understand the design behind Melody and the bard songs but now that I understand that PvE will come to this game it clears up. My hope is though that they do have some PvP ocused bard songs in Bright Lights so that I actually get to play with Melody in other formats, would be a waste of that gourgeos art.
