The barrel licensing from the police seems authoritarian and no way live. Evidently not enough young men like Mr. Malan in his county.
I am from Latvia. and that is small country with quite a poor shooting abilities if compared with US or SA, but, in any case, the advice of these two guys on their CZcams channels allowed me to prepare for my first ever competion season, and that allowed me on first year of competition take second place in the Latvian Cup and the next year even become the champion of Latvia. It is nice to see how connected the world of ELR, PRS, Hunting, and just general marksman really is. The licensing process is a paper war here in South Africa. The amount of documentation for EACH firearm is almost more than applying for a home loan. We also have to renew our licenses every 10 years. Here we cannot just change out a barrel easily as it is a licenced part. But, that said, we have no SBR laws, no restrictions on magazine capacity, and no licenses for silencers required. Pros and Cons.
2 of my favorite shooters and YT guys. I could tell from the RockChuck Olympics that you 2 got along very well and made a friendship for life. I live near Gavin here in Washington State. Next time you guys come out I would love to meet up.
